The RP2008 site says that there is going to be a news conference. Anyone know if any of the national networks will be broadcasting it, or is this going to be another internet-only thing?

I see that FoxNews has some kind of chemical explosion in the HQ causing it to be evacuated 20 minutes before Ron Paul's news conference, so I'm guessing Fox won't be covering it.

Anyone know if this will be streamed online anywhere? justin.tv? If not, will anyone be there to tape and post to youtube?

bump. 14 minutes until it is advertised to begin. Nobody in Iowa has heard a single detail about this?

If it's anything like the post Nov 5th Money Bomb press conference, the only place you'll see it is on the Campaign's YouTube channel.

I'd check the C-SPAN's if you have them.

uhm, it's in Des Moines - the press release would therefore be in local time (assuming it's done right)

Thanks for pointing that out. What stations in Des Moines will be there, any idea?

Call the HQ and ask :)

Ok. Called HQ and asked, currently all of their press people are tied up in a meeting. I specifically asked if it would be broadcast by mainstream news stations. The rep told me that "I strongly suggest you look online". So there ya go.

I guess we'll have to call back later to get the link online for it or the television station. Or we could just be patient and wait for the youtube.

Didn't they do a press conference on http://justin.tv/ronpaul the day after the Nov 5 money bomb? Would rock if they continue to use that medium.

Someone on justin.tv said in the chat that:
"called the campaign HQ.. he didn't think the press conference was being broadcast, and wasn't sure if it would be posted online.. only if someone else there recorded it and posted it."

it's pathetic that ronpaulradio isn't covering it - remember when they'd cover everything?

Good comment about Ron Paul Radio. You'd think this would be newsworthy even to them.

I think RonPaul Radio busted its bandwidth budget over the weekend.

they are playing music now. where's the focus?

Exactly. We have no right to criticize the mainstream media's ignorance of breaking ron paul news, when Ron Paul Radio is playing music during perhaps the most important press conference of the campaign.

Do we know if it started???

I sure hope they have a better background setting than that god awful one one after Nov. 5th.

Why can't they put up a bunch of American Flags and look presidential or something!!!!

Do people here really think a news conference (from any candidate) will be broadcast on tv? One of the candidates probably gives a news conference every day of the week and how many have you seen?

Romney's news conference about his personal stance on religion was broadcast on several mainstream news channels for what, 15-20 minutes straight?

RonPaulRadio.com kicks ass. Has it occurred to the haters that there isn't a way for them to cover it because no one seems to know how it is being transmitted?

FOUND IT. Now once you watch this, you'll see why it wasn't aired. Paul is being so direct here in handling their questions it is making me fired up again for this campaign and freedom!

You've got to love this guy. Hemp, all the wonderful products the Canadians make. Alright, let's do a Jessie Ventura and win this thing. And if we don't, it's not for trying.
