(RTTNews) - Sunday, supporters of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul raised millions of dollars as Paul marched from the Statehouse to Faneuil Hall and staged a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party. The goal of the fundraiser, called a "money bomb," was to raise as much money as possible over the internet in one day.

As of midnight EST, donations had reached well over $6 million according to the campaign website. Most of the donations came via the internet. Previously, the campaign's fundraiser had raised $4.2 million on November 5th. The 5th, Guy Fawkes Day, is another symbol of rebellion in British history. Guy Fawkes Day commemorates a British mercenary who tried to kill King James I in 1605....

Finally someone admits we broke all records for a 24 hours period and not just our own record. I think this proves RP is not a fringe candidate.
