Just putting this out there for comment...

What about having a money bomb on January 24, 2008?

This is the date in 1848 when gold was discovered at Sutter's Mill in California.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Gold_Rush

We could use the gold theme with a primary focus on sound monetary policy and a return to the gold standard.

What do you all think?

Nah, paints us in a negative light. The Gold Standard is already unpopular enough for Ron Paul. Besides, I want to see how the early primaries look before any more moneybombing (aside from New Year's Eve).

The funny thing is that the people who got rich from the gold rush weren't the people looking for gold, but the owners of businesses catering to gold seekers.

Well, it was just a thought. Maybe people are tired of money bombs... especially on the day after the biggest one ever. :p
