Ron Paul was much sharper back then. So quick with his witty comeback. I wish he could have some of that speed and energy in his speaking these days.

OH SHIT!!!!!

I think I almost pissed myself I laughed so hard at that.....

Unfortunately the entire segment of that show (just search You Tube for it) isn't quite so funny. They don't treat Ron well at all!

Ah, man. If Ron was twenty years younger. I would have loved to see the verbal smackdown that would have occurred in the debates.

His wit remains sharp, but his tongue has unfortunately dulled somewhat.

It was his medical opinion and offered free of charge. The kid should be grateful!

Back then he had no chance of winning so he could be a little aggressive to get that message out with some jazz and build momentum for the future (maybe a reason why we are doing so well nearly 20 years later). Now that he is a real threat to the establishment, the media would eat him up for a comment like that. Wisely his words have mellowed out a bit.

He needs to bring that fire-ish energy back into what he does say, though. :)

This was after a lot of insulting behavior directed towards RP.

Ron LOL

What's really funny here is that while his comment is inflammatory, he's still totally on point with his message!

It's all still there and 20 years more, he just needs another 10 million of us to bring him out as a real hope.

I do love how indignant they all looked (especially the girl), as if he was calling the whole audience overweight.

Apparently, they were too shocked to register the logic in his statement.

Exactly. Watch the full show, it's like he was on Jerry Springer or something.

Sad thing is, the government really is putting kids on diets now.

What ever happened to the chick in the red barrette?

So many people keep asking this question. Apparently she's a reporter now for, you guessed it, FOX. A FOX affiliate actually.

The truth hurts. Americans are hypocrites, we commit and praise honesty in leaders, but when they actually tell us the truth, we get offended and cry like little babies.

Pathetic.

That's some of the fire I was to see in Paul soon if the media keeps ignoring him.

"I'm high, high on the thought of freedom"

That was my favorite quote that RP said on that show.
