I agree, we need to fund the blimp and keep it in the air. Also we need to encourage and help individuals from the various Meetup groups travel to Iowa and New Hampshire to get Ron Paul's message out to the voters.

We can break the strangle hold the MSM has on Ron Paul's campaign if we go local with most of our efforts. The MSM may be able to control most of the information received by the masses but we can control some of what the voters hear on the local level by targeting the local news media and talking with the people one-on-one and passing out flyers with the Ron Paul message.

I have helped several individuals make the trip to Iowa by donating a few dollars to them. I intend to help more as funds come available.

Make no mistake about it, we are in a media war with the MSM. They throw out a few crumbs every now and then by mentioning Ron Paul's name however even positive news about Ron Paul and his campaign is usually balanced with something negative.

This morning CNN mentioned the huge sum of money we raised yesterday. Along with the announcement they said that it was a waste of money.

I think a big moneybomb is a good idea once a month on around the 10th of the month to try to top our previous record.

Holding a second one would only delay the money people would have donated anyway, and delays aren't good. I think we should do a two-day moneybomb in January after we WIN the NH primary! All the "he can't win" fence sitters will jump on board and donate for the first time! It'll be huge!

I think the goal of this final-day moneybomb should be to beat Romney's Q1 record of $21,084,634. We just passed $18.3 mil for Q4, so would need a $2,784,634 moneybomb on Dec 31st to do that, just below the proposed 28,000 * $100, and that number will drop significantly by then. This will mean we've raised more money than any other Republican in any quarter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_for_the_2008_presidential_election), and unlike our opponents we didn't have to sell our souls to the devil to do it!

If and when we reach that goal, we'll announce the next milestone goal, which is to beat the $21,343,291 Obama raised in Q3. If we come a little short, we'll have plenty of good excuses, including the money that was donated to unofficial venues like the blimp!

I've also seen suggestions for a money bomb on the 1st and on the 3rd.

Most of my friends are likely to be sober on the 31st and passed out until the 2nd, so I like this New Year's Eve one, better.

Having a money bomb on the 3rd would give good reports no matter what results in Iowa. Something to think on.

We need to have 350,000 each month donated for the blimp. This is important if the mainstream media is going to continue to ignore us. This is a great way to get some radio coverage even if the television does not report on it.

Right now the blimp does not have enough money to stay in the air very long at all. If anyone who is maxed out wants to help they need to know that the blimp donations don't count to your max.

Many people are maxed out or broke, the goal should be reasonable and reachable, I say target to $20 Million for Q4, which means why might need only just over a million dollars that day, very easy to hit.

I think that with $20 Million Ron Paul has enough money to take him to super Tuesday. Its time to focus money on more front line issues, the blimp, local ads, chip-ins that support the effort. DVD hand outs.
