Where's the poll?

I vote 'Yes' as long as we keep it small. I don't think we can beat today's bomb.

No, money bombs are to get attention. Dec 31st money bomb will not do anything tonight's bomb didn't already do. All you will do with another bomb is delay the date the campaign will receive their donations.

No way guys. We can only ask people for money so many times. Remember the blimp needs funding as well as various PAC's and other chip-ins. Plus, nobody will donate on 12/31. Most people will be at parties, etc.

A mini-bomb.

Make the goal small so people don't feel completely drained. Small donations well. Just to push us over 20M.

This isn't a game. It should be done for the right reasons. Having a round number doesn't add much value IMO. Using that money for Chip-ins, etc seems like a better idea to me.

We definitely have to keep the money flowing.. whether or not we do another money bomb I'm not sure. I think though that tomorrow we should try to get a good amount of donations in to top off our money bomb. The same happened after Nov. 5th and we should try to make it larger this time. I think the main reason it happens is some people forget about the date but this time there is another reason. At 11:30 approximately Ronpaul2008.com crashed due to having more donors per minute than EVER before (even more than the start of the money bomb). It was down about 40 minutes and didn't come up until way after 12. I think many of those last minute donors that the chart showed donating late were unable to donate since the site crashed due to massive traffic. I could not load it at all. Many likely went to sleep (Work tomorrow) and will plan to donate tomorrow instead in hope it will be running then. In other words I think because of the crash there is a significant amount of people who are yet to donate. Tomorrow we should attempt to make a big day as well if you can spare it and have not maxed out.

I don't care if we do it as a bomb, or just as increased efforts each day until the end of the year, the number to shoot for is $21,100,000.

The reason is two fold:

$21,033,820.00 is 4 times our Q3, for an amazing increase of 300%.
$21,084,634.00 is Mitt Romney's first quarter, and the best so far in the Republican primary.

These two numbers are not far: only about $3,000,000 away. In 14 days, this is attainable. In the two weeks before the Tea Party, we raised roughly $750,000, and that was while we were holding back, preparing for the TP!!! In the last 11 weeks, we've had 3 $1 million+ weeks. If we throw these out as outliers, our average is still about $447,000 per week.

In addition, the last of the offline donations will go in by the 31st, which could again be as high 400,000, bringing our next two weeks up to $1,294,000. That's almost half of the way there, just by playing the averages! But we're more than average, aren't we? We set out to break records, and we OBLITERATE them.

We can do it. We HAVE done it. So I say we go for it. When Ron Paul wins, we ALL win.
