Ummm I'm guessing somewhere in the $60s of millions, set by Clinton?

Probably like 25 million, by Hillary of course. But she had people bundle like 10 million dollars in the last week though.

Romeny put something like 6-7 mil of his own money into those numbers. We have already set the record for money RAISED.

Bush raised $29.7 Million in the 2nd quarter of 1999. And both Hillary & Obama have broken $30 Million in a quarter.

If we throw out Bush, Hillary & Obama, the alltime record for PRIMARY money raised in a quarter is Romney's $21.08 Million raised in the 1st quarter of '07.

Romney loaned his campaign money in Q2 and Q3, but these are his Q1 numbers, which show NO loans.

Still, we can beat him, but good, in the next two weeks!

I'm pretty sure that Romney's personal donations do not count as money raised. Technically, he is not donating to his campaign - he is "lending" the campaign money. Either way, I'm fairly sure that it doesn't count in the quarterly fundraising numbers.

If it DOES, then the non-Bush, non-Obama, non-Hillary, non-Mitt record for primary fundraising in a quarter is Giuliani's $18.03 Million from the 1st quarter of this year.

Obviously we beat that one.

2 million in two weeks? This is a worthy challenge we can beat!!
