It looks like those supporters are Americans overseas.

lmao, that would be Hawaii.

Also, I would like to thank all the support we are receiving from other countries, it really helps affirm that Dr. Paul is the only right choice.

Not all. Some Aussies now are entering politics on their own to take back Australia from their elite.. and the other day there was a Ron Paul rally in Germany.. only a handful of people.. but passersby and some cops seemed to be interested in it all.

"The message of Liberty is very powerful.." - Ron Paul

Perhaps NOBODY likes their central banks haha

Thanks for that clarification. I was going to say "that's all well and good, but the election is only for U.S. citizens."

If you click on any of the balloons on the map it will tell you the meetup group and location.... Try it, pretty cool...

No, it is against campaign finance laws.

This is fantastic news. I myself have started a meet-up group in Quakertown that will coordinate with the Allentown one that I already belong to, I have at least 3 other people that will join up as soon as I give them the URL and they create their accounts.

P.S. - Quakertown is a heavily Republican area, so if I can make inroads here I won't have to get many people to re-register like I did.

If they are Americans (Green Card holders too), then yes. (Americans are people too) Otherwise, no.

I'm assuming there is a delay. I'm going to start a new thread on this, there are some things I would like help with. You can find it directly by drilling down by city.

Mate, we're not going to just take the Republic back, we are going to take the World back...

Oops, I have to revise the above statement.

Because the Ron Paul message is so Universal, we're going to have to take the Universe back instead...

I hope this Iraq # explodes, it shows support to get out of that unjust war! It will be a big message IMO

I don't think this guy is in Baghdad

http://ronpaul.meetup.com/451/members/4347605/

This kind of thing inappropriately artificially inflates our numbers. I really don't like that.

I agree it made me think we had support in Iraq and we don't. I want real # not inflated BS #'s

Made me think we had people on the ground there doing the footwork...... As far as I am concerned I feel like I been spammed .

It's ok, I looked at memberships of other countries, and for the most part they are legit :)
Baghdad does not currently have any real members, though ...

I started it, no I'm not in Baghdad. I've posted my reasons for starting it in this thread:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=5744

As soon as someone who is actually over there decides to join, I will make one of them assistant organizer. As a meetup.com subscriber, I'm allowed 3 meetup groups total. I figured I'd start one where over 140,000 Americans are at, in case some aren't joining because of the meetup.com subscription costs. I'm not trying to inflate the numbers.

Thanks for the explanation - I hope your plan works. Don't know if you will see any soldiers with Ron Paul signs but for sure it would be kewl!

Oh yeah, well I put out a bulletin that this wasn't for stateside supporters. Hopefully people will read it. I don't want to have to approve everyone, because I want it to be as open as possible, but if it gets out of hand I will just start booting people.

On a side note, I found a web page with over a hundred Iraqi blogs.

http://iraqblogcount.blogspot.com/2007/06/more-blogs.html#comments

Still haven't found any military social networks over there, I did however put out an email to Iraq Veteran's against the War, thinking maybe they might have some contacts over there. I know my brother is getting restationed back with the 82nd, and they are over there now, checking with him to see if he knows how to network with any of those guys.
