The database would be absolutely demolished under this load. It's slow as hell the way it is.

So it was fine for the last 20 hours of this mess..but now.....:rolleyes:

Uping the time between searches on the "new posts" button to 1-2 minutes would have been just as good...

...it's so much easier to see the new posts on the entire board than having to go from forum to forum...given that there are so many...

Yeah, there was a good quote I saw in a post earlier and I wanted to grab it, now I can't find it. Hopefully I'll remember to look for it again when searching is turned back on.
