I was just thinking about 48,000 donors giving about $100 each in a twenty-four hour period.
I do not know what the server capacity is at HQ, but would it not be nearly impossible to fit in that many donors in that time period? It takes about 1 to two minutes per donor to fill out form after all.
I think we may be at our limit numbers-wise in that respect, but I do believe the donations will continue long after and into the following day for that reason alone.
So the question is: In order to top our current figures at $100 per donor (approx), would there not need to be a major upgrade in the servers? I am allowing that we are already putting a strain on them.
Any thoughts?
