I WILL TRY TO EXPLAIN HOW TO DO THIS, BUT IT MAY BE BEST TO GET WITH SOMEONE IN YOUR GROUP WHO ALREADY KNOWS HOW.

There are 2 Ron Paul DVD Projects:

The 'Ron Paul Video Revolution' DVD project :

UPDATE! NOW AVAILABLE:
Direct Links To Torrent of July 06 Version of 'Ron Paul Video Revolution' DVD:
From mininova: http://www.mininova.org/tor/782311
From demonoid: http://www.demonoid.com/files/detail...rel=1183783703 (members only)

Complete DVD by RohanT available via Bit Torrent:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=5023

To download either DVD from a bit torrent link, you first need a Bit Torrent program (a P2P - peer to peer - file sharing program, sort of like Kazaa, Napster, Morpheus, BearShare, etc).

Download uTorrent here:

http://download.utorrent.com/1.6.1/uTorrent-1.6.1-install.exe

Save it to your desktop.

Go to desktop and run the file.

It will ask you where you want to install -- usually 'Program Files', but in any case MAKE NOTE OF WHERE IT IS INSTALLED.

Once installed, click this link:

http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/3728002/RON_PAUL_2008.iso.3728002.TPB.torrent

Your browser may ask you what program you want to use to open the file after you click this. Browse to the location where you installed uTorrent, and double click 'utorrent.exe'.

give it a couple minutes, and uTorrent should start downloading the file (after you click Ok), but you must have enough room on your hard drive to store the file.

If it does not start downloading, it may be beyond your means to figure out how to get it to work -- this is pretty techy stuff. However, you can try to do your own research at these locations:

EDIT: Problems with getting uTorrent to download at all are usually problems with routers / proxies.

Next, when the file is downloaded, it will be in .iso format (which is a whole DVD in one file basically). You will need to burn it to a DVD.

To do this, you need a program that can burn DVD .iso's. Get this program, and remember where you downloaded it to.

http://www.deepburner.com/download/DeepBurner1_Portable.zip

It is a zip file, so you need to open it and 'extract' the files to your favorite program location 'desktop' is easy, 'program files' is clean.

When the DVD .iso is done downloading, open DeepBurner from the location you extracted the files.

Put an empty DVD in your drive, choose 'burn iso', and choose the file downloaded from uTorrent.

Choose burn disc, and you got it! (hopefully) If not, try researching here:

PM me with problems.

Are there any direct download links for these DVDs?

My ISP will ban me for using bittorrent. They already cut me off once.:(

rohanT's does not have a direct download that I'm aware of (huge hosting resources necessary). Gigaplex's, as I understand, will be available for direct download when complete from the website linked above.

I suggest ask at your next meetup whether there is anyone who can download and burn a copy, then you can much more easily burn copies of that disk.

Also, get a new ISP -- they're stifling free use of bandwidth that you pay for!

Gotcha. Thanks.

I don't pay for it. ;)

I also don't have a TV, so there's no cable, and DSL won't reach. :( Satellite would be the next option, but right now I get broadband for free with just a few restrictions (like no bittorrent). I can live with that for now.
