The question is, what will Ron Paul do with his newly acquired cash? Buy more television ads, I'd suspect!

Failure? What the hell are you smoking? This is already a HUGE freakin success! Paul has exceeded his 4th quarter goal (and it was a very optimistic goal) by over $4 mil! This is likely to make him the TOP repub fundraiser for the 4th quarter.

Tonight's goal should be to raise a total of 17.76 million. That would be a nice number to end the tea party on and would ensure beating Hillary's 6.1 million in donation/pledges.

The rate has been holding very steady at around $300,000 per hour since about 10 this morning. At $4.7 million right now, with four hours to go, the final tally will be right around $5.9 million.

Maybe that will pick up in the final hour, if the record is in reach.
