After we have finished donating for today I want to urge all of you to go out (or order online) and purchase Ron Paul's latest book "A Foreign Policy Of Freedom". It is a great read for any supporter and shows his positions have not changed since he has entered government life. They would make great gifts for friends and family. Maybe we can make it a best seller! ;) Go Ron Paul!

I haven't heard any discussion about Ron's book. I see it is a compilation of his foreign policy speeches over the years.

It seems this book should be promoted everywhere. Clue people in to why our foreign policy has created so many problems for us.

Certainly not the most exciting reading, but critically relevent to the campaign.

I've bought 12 copies to distribute as xmas gifts :D

Also, Naomi Wolf's new book (End of America) would make a great xmas gift too.

They're available on the campaign's website as well. I bought it along with my order of stickers/signs etc. a few weeks ago.

Probably won't make it for x-mas delivery, but I know all the proceeds in the store are campaign donations, so if you're getting some gear anyway I suggest you pick up the book as well.

I got one from Barnes and Noble.
They said they had copies in store, but I couldn't find one so they had to order another.

I looked for it yesterday at Walden's books and Borders. Neither had it in this area :(

I wanted to get it for my Dad for Christmas. I settled for Naomi Watts book.

This should be one of the next focuses - money bombing some book purchases - just think Ron Paul having a bestselling book on forieng policy, more specifically the speeches he's given on foreign policy over the past 30 years.

I would recommend purchasing in store if possible. I got the only one at Barnes and Noble. Make all these bookstores order more of them.

Don't settle on these 30 second clips of Dr Paul speaking on foreign policy. Know what you're talking about by purchasing and reading his book!

It would not only force the media to give him attention, but put his book in front at bookstores on display.

I think the $$$ from the books goes to him, not to the campaign.

Personally I would donate to the campaign instead and buy the books after the elections.

I'm thinking about buying a bunch and dropping them off at local coffeeshops that accept reading material donations. :)

I think if you purchase it from the official campaign website the money goes to the campaign as a contribution but if you have already maxed out on your contributions pick one up from a local retailer or on amazon. I think Dr. Paul can use our support in buying his book either way. :)

Make Ron Paul 'the man' a rich man! (if he isn't allready ^^)

He (purposely) is not going to recieve a pension for being in the Congress. He gives back a portion of his income to the US Treasury.

Ummm.... I doubt it.

I work at a Barnes and Noble in New York City. I was excited one day when I got a call from someone asking to buy the book... we only had one copy. The store has a 2008 election promotion table, nothing with Paul on it, though. I'm going to order more copies into the store and put it up on the display, and recommend it to my management as a Staff Recommendation book. I do get a decent 30% off of books in the store, so if any fellow Paul supporters want the book and the discount, stop into my store and I'll be glad to hook you up. Spread the book, the message, everything.

Very cool Eisenhower, I ran into the same situation at my local Barnes & Noble only 1 copy in the store. =\ Welcome to the forums BTW :)
