Someone at RonPaulRadio just mentioned it and it's an awesome
Idea: The Presidents Day Moneybomb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidents_Day_%28United_States%29), February 18.

Does that sound good - or what?:D

The idea of Martin Luther King Day was mentioned a few weeks ago.

This would resonate well for his staunch support of our civil rights.

The race will likely be over by then.

No one should save up money until President's Day. IMO. if you have any extra to contribute, spend on it signs, advertisments, etc.

I agree, no more long-term money bombs.
the point was to impress the media and show the amount of support.
nobody's going to care about the money primary once there are real primary results.

our efforts should go into GOTV campaigns, maybe rebut negative attack ads with own spontanious grassroots TV ads(official campaign probably is too slow for that), spin the primary results etc.

July 4th would be an appropriate day for another money bomb. Dr. Paul will need it in the general election.

Wait and see what the mainstream media does with today's money bomb. They could get tired of it real fast and choose to ignore it. Depending on the MSM to get our message out is a bad idea.

There has to be some way of bypassing the media, the blimp is a great idea, what about more blimps?

The weather is too bad this time of year for a New York / Boston blimp, but a west coast blimp might be a good idea. San Fran / LA / San Diego and all points in between. SuperBowl, whatever else there might be. $350,000 a month to have an impossible to ignore overhead billboard flying over the cities, getting people to learn about Ron Paul.

Absolutely nobody should save money to donate on February 18th. At this point there is no reason to save your money - we aren't going to beat December 16th in a single day. The earlier the campaign gets the money, the better.
