Hi all,

I was donating for the tea party this morning and Dr. Paul's bill introduced to congress about no taxes on tips stood out to me. Although I don't have much money, I always tip well when I eat out. I asked a few friends who are waitresses/waiters if they would read prefer to read a whole slim jim or just a short card/insert with their tip. It seems like they think slim jims are too long, so I was thinking if we could include a very brief card detailing Dr. Paul's no tip on taxes with a tag line about "Helping me tip you more without tipping the US govt" that it might stand out when the waiters/waitresses get a good tip. I'm not sure how to go about organizing something like this so people could order them and leave them with tips. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Paul E.

Hi! Welcome to the forum- great idea, they cost less too. One easy way to do this would be to just create a business card with a design and allow others to order that card from one of the many online printers that do business cards. I think they can be hand for a few cents each (single sided and large orders). :)

hi & welcome. :)

I'm sure I've read in another post about just such an item having already been designed? Maybe you can print off some of them. And others have discussed tactics for organizing with a diner manager or whatever to get him onside. Anyone remember the thread?

Thanks guys, I'll do a search and see if I can find some. If I can't find anything, I'll look into designing something and let you guys know where the designs can be found.
