I wonder what Tim Russert will bring up with Ron Paul.

Will he pull a Cramer: "Your position, MY POSITION, is ...."?

I think RP is best suited to deal with attack dog Russert because he will give straight answers as opposed to Ghouls stupid giggle and Romney's backpedaling style

what attacks does he have? He can attack Ron's stances on his issues...but its not like Ron spent tax payers money on a mistress and did business in Qatar.

Ron has has been defending the same issues for 30 years, he knows how to defend his stance.

Romney isn't such a bad guy, but he's like every other candidate. Mitt has and will lie to get this election. Any person armed with the truth will know that he has no credibility. Nobody will believe him.
This will be an excellent interview for Ron Paul.
Russert will have a simple choice. Look like a complete fool or just vote for him.

That's been debunked so much it's ridiculous to even mention it, it'd be a good opening to dispell the very old rumors nationally anyway.

Anybody got dirt on Tim? :D We could "remind" him before the interview. :p j/k

Greetings All,

Since Ron Paul has the essential ingredient of integrity he will do well against any attack so long as he is allowed to explain his position. This won't be like the O'Rudely factor with the host constantly interrupting him. He will win many new supporters on Beck and Meet the Press, mark my words.

Midnight77

Awesome. Russert baited Romney with a question.

Russert asked Romney why he criticized Mike Huckabee for criticizing George Bush.

Romney took the bait and said it was an insult to the President.

Then, Russert quoted Romney on Friday as him saying that Iraq was a mess. Tim asked him if that was not a reflection on the President.

Romney tried his best to explain his way out of that one, but went back to criticizing Huckabee again.

Great job, Tim.

All these neo-cons are taking Dr Paul's ideas because "freedom is popular".

I will be interested to hear Paul on Beck Tuesday. I caught Beck's weekend show in the car today and he was focusing on the national debt and how it is the biggest problem we face, but no candidates will talk about it. Hopefully, he will strike a common cord with Paul, rather than focus on his infatuation with Islamic Fascism.

As for Russert, I think Paul can handle anything he throws at him, but it would be nice if he woul give Paula chance to talk, rather than try to beat him into submission like he did with Mitt.
