There was some discussion of how the rest of the world would view a Ron Paul presidency. This Op-Ed piece comes from Al-Hayat, the very well known London-based Arabic newspaper:

i like that he showed his support for dr. paul....but his anti-israel stance was pretty obvious haha

True, but it also shows how many Arabs consider Iran to be a threat. I know one Arab who has said he would fight alongside Israel and the US against Iran before he would ever take the Iranian side.

Nah, there are alot of Arabian Iranians. It's just some extremist\Radical Salafis who consider Iran to be a threat. They're warmongers.

This was no salafi warmonger talking-I can tell you that with 100% certainty. Iranians and Arabs are very different, they are divided on language and for many deep rooted religious differences.

Sunnis have issues with Iran because it is Shia. Many Iraqis have issues with Iran for obvious reasons. Egypt has had nearly no relations with Iran for almost as long as the US has because the Iranian government had the audacity to name a street in Tehran after the assassin of Sadat.
