When Ron Paul raised $5 million in third quarter I was impressed. When I first saw the $12 million goal for the fourth quarter I rolled my eyes and thought, good luck with that one. Well, while I slept the Tea Party already has put Ron Paul past his fund raising goal for this quarter. This is great!
I know, I know, we're all holding our breaths, waiting for the sun and folks to rise and for those contribution numbers for the day to go stratospheric. We all want to see a total that will grab the Monday morning headlines. The good news is that the Tea Party is on track to better than double the November 5th total and the sun isn't even up on the east coast.
But whatever happens, we've pushed Ron Paul over the top for the quarter. That's something worth celebrating.
