My mother, an incredibly apathetic follower of politics, says she'll send $50 Dr. Paul's way if he manages to raise over 6,000,000 today.

She says "Ron Paul seems like a good guy", but doesn't think he can win and is always indifferent to the remarkable things I inform her about.

So earlier when I estimated 8mil+ , she quickly told me he couldn't get over six. I proposed the idea of her forking over $50 if this wasn't the case.

Give an extra dollar, or ten, or fifty when you donate today. (:

Will she double her donation if we top $10 million? :D

Tell your mom to warm up that credit card because it is getting used today. Let us know if she does it and if she does I will match her $50:)

The fact is the more money we donate NOW the more money others will donate LATER in the day!

We will just get Bernanke to have the Fed print us the $6 million in monopoly money.

Exactly! And why? Because PEOPLE LIKE A WINNER! Imagine the other extreme, suppose by 8 a.m. we had only raised half a million dollars. How pathetic would that be? Do you think anyone would want to join us then? Heck no!

BUT, when this hits the Sunday morning talk shows....AND IT WILL....more and more people will say, "Hey, this guy just might make it...and I like what he stands for ....so, where's that darn credit card."

AMERICANS LIKE A WINNER!

Woohoooo, that was close. I'm about to give her the news right now and hopefully she'll donate tomorrow.

If so, I'll post the receipt here and I expect jdmyprez to match.

Lol. My mom actually donated $50 too, though it didn't have a condition tied to it. She just wanted to support my rare enthusiasm for something political in nature.
