So far, we are annihilating the 5th. Things are going to go very well if we keep up this pace.

Not 4x, but definately 3x. Which means we could do $12M in 1 day:

Look how much steeper the graph for 11/5 grew after 7am... Now how much steeper will today's line go after 7am today?

LOL! Don't know that I've ever seen a vertical line like this and I worked in Finance for over 10 years.

LOVE IT!

About 3x.

The interesting point will be the 6am+ breakout.

It's not quite 3x, either. I'd say a good 2.5x faster. Which really just means 10 million. Aww... But who knows what will happen during the day...

I just think the fact that its a Sunday means more people were willing to stay up late to donate.

I've been trying not to get my hopes up that we'd break $10M because I want to be realistic, but with info like that, I'm starting to allow myself to believe that number is possible (must tell myself "Past performance is no guarantee of future results").

I'm going to be very nervous until at least 8am tomorrow. After that I'll start to allow myself to believe.

Remember that the 5th was a weekday, so I think the initial rush will be better than normal and the 6am pickup will be more like 8-9 AM instead.

Either way, keep it up! I just donated $100, will probably donate another $50 at the end of the day.

The peak in the number of donors per hour average in the very beginning was around 1300 on 11/5 from 00:00 to 07:00 and then it broke out to the upside at 7ish+. We had about 3400 donors per hour average at the peak at around 00:15, for about 2.61X the number of dollar donating patriots. Therefore, you could say that we have about 2.61 times the buzz and interest of early-day donors. If the relationship holds up and the relationship is fairly linear, you could expect $4 million (not counting $0.3 million oddline that was added that day from previous days)X 2.61 = $10.44 million today.

At this rate I cannot get onto the website to donate. That means by the 6am spike we might hit a limit at the rate donations can make. What if it is technically impossible to allow everyone to donate today?

Never invent problems that do not exist.

Well I sure can't donate.
