I hope they hurry up and give it room to grow or change the widget because not doing so could discourage donors, although I doubt most because they'll know what's up.

i would like to see it go up to 12 million like it does now, show that it is completely full, then pull back to show the entire graph from 0 to around 20 million. that will show us how far we've come, and how far we could potentially go today.
