No, actual amount is $11,551,156.57 according to a clock synced with NIST time servers and showing up according to screenshot at 11:59am

You see, the ticker is 1+ minutes behind. So 11:59pm ticker is the closest you will get to actual midnight.

Your amount is a whole $1405 larger which suggests that it is taken too late.

I dont give a rats ass what your computers, or the NIST time servers say. We MUST go by the time the campaign uses.

I think we should count 11:59 to 11:59 PM per the screen shots.

As stated before, I fully agree with this statement.

The campaign showed 11:59pm (It is 1 minute behind real time anyways) and within that minute we take the last second or as close as we can get to midnight in real time.

That is precisely what I achieved by syncing with NIST and refreshing just seconds before midnight real time.

Are you having trouble comprehending this?

+1

If we take the screenshot of 12:00, it includes any donations made earlier in that minute.

That snapshot is 12:00 exactly. I took my snapshot by the second. Yes, a snapshot was taken later that minute, but we want a snapshot of 12:00:00, not 12:00:59.

OMG, how many times do I have to repeat this:

1) I synced my clock with NIST time server. SO my clock was PRECISE.
I wasn't relying on any webpage with its own inherent delays. THINK !

2) I refreshed ronpaul2008.com 10 seconds before ACTUAL midnight and got ticker total less than 5 seconds away from actual midnight.

The starting amount IS 11,551,156.57

You CANNOT use a time on some web page as your guide nor can you rely on the ticker for it updates once a minute.

You have to make your own clock exact and then refresh at the right time.
