This (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=23381&highlight=vendetta+november+5th) is the first thread to make mention of a "crazy idea" about November 5th which spawned the money bomb concept that has taken this campaign to a new level.

Trevor gets a ton of (well deserved) credit for November 5th and the ensuing fundraising success...but I just wanted to throw out major props to nakor667 for striking the match that started the inferno.

I love how the thread ends: "any ideas?" Who could have imagined what this campaign has turned into.

And only one person, "Me3", understood.

V is a terrorist against an unjust state. Much like the Revolutionaries were terrorists against the British Monarchy in America.

The balance of comments was negative.

You never know when or where the next bolt is gonna hit.

I forgot his name, but is from Orange County, CA. There was an article in the OC Register
on him a few weeks ago. He deserves some recognition, for sure. I'm now drinking a beer in his honor.

so weird that a guy with like 31 posts was the true beginner of this idea. maybe he wasn't the one who actually thought of it himself but its just weird

I remember reading that thread when it was first posted. I'm almost certain he was the first to mention the date of November 5th...it all started from there.

If you do a search you'll find that "V for Vendetta" is mentioned many time dating back to May, but this (to my best knowledge) was the first post to mention the date of Nov 5th and doing something big...who knew!

I'll have to say that most of the successful grassroots things I thought were crappy ideas at the beginning (Nov. 5th, blimp). Thank God I am not in charge. I hereby abandon my best judgment to the overriding wisdom of GRASSROOTS. [raises a pint to the visionaries]

I remember bringing up the idea of doing something for that day. I wasn't sure if I was the first or not. In retrospect, I guess I was. Cool!

Of course, my inspiration came from EricIndiana's 911Vendetta video over on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNDzLYpN_Q8

Oh... now it makes a lot more sense! I remember seeing your post and thinking "WTF? He brainwashes that girl!" but I think had I seen this video I would have understood what you were getting at.
