There were numerous caravans headlines in news pre midterm elections that quickly vanished after those elections.

A lot of things will disappear not too long after, including the riots and covid-1984. The lasting damage and reduction in rights will still apply, but there will no longer be a media focused narrative on these things, which will ease people's day to day emotional fear. The msm will turn to other more concerning threats, supreme court nomination, promoting pedophilia, regaining national control of the narrative, etc.

Hopefully not, but just like during the 2016 election, they will disappear.

Makes sense that crossings increase as the temperature cools in the desert.

No, there will not be, thanks to Trump and his deals:

Guatemala said Friday that it would detain and return the caravan of approximately 2,000 Hondurans who crossed its borders Thursday in their journey to the United States, according to The Associated Press.

Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei reportedly said in a broadcast address to the country that the migrants posed a health threat due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The order has been given to detain all those who entered illegally, and return them to the border of their country,” Giammattei said. “We will not allow any foreigner who has used illegal means to enter the country, to think that they have the right to come and infect us and put us at serious risk.”

President Trump spent months publicly railing about a caravan of migrants working its way up from Central America. His fear-mongering on the issue, relentless coverage from Fox News and a heavy ad campaign from the GOP amounted to the Republican Party’s closing message of the 2018 campaign. During this dinner, just months before those elections, he made clear he was privately cheering it.

You can try and twist that all you want but people aren't stupid, the caravans were a good thing and a stupid mistake by the enemy, they woke people up to the scale of the threat.
And Trump stopped them.

Guatemalan authorities sent more than 3,000 Honduran migrants back to their home country over the past few days, they said on Saturday, dissolving much of a caravan heading north even while dwindling groups continued the trek toward the United States.

Thousands of caravan members had crossed into Guatemala from Honduras without authorization last Thursday, pushing past troops at the border as they sought to escape poverty exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic.

As many as 2,800 people crossed the border in the initial incident, according to Guatemala's government.

Since then and on Saturday, 3,586 migrants had "opted to return," the government said.

Mexico on Friday ordered the military to deploy along its southern border to block a migrant caravan that President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador suggested was linked to the US election.

Thousands of mostly Honduran migrants were traveling through Guatemala, heading for the United States via Mexico, just weeks before a tense US presidential vote in which immigration is a key issue.

“It seems very strange to us. It’s very strange that this caravan leaves on the eve of the election in the United States,” Lopez Obrador told reporters.

“It has to do with the election in the United States. I don’t have all the elements but I think there are indications that it was put together for this purpose,” he added.

The migrants, mostly young men, surged across the border from Honduras into Guatemala on Thursday despite restrictions linked to the coronavirus pandemic.

Many were not wearing masks to protect against the spread of infection.

Some returned to their country after the Guatemalan government ordered them to be detained and deported.

Mexico will deploy hundreds of military and immigration personnel to its border to prevent the caravan entering the country, a senior government official said.

“They’re not going to cross,” Francisco Garduno, the head of the Mexican migration authority, told reporters.

Garduno said the migrants must “respect the immigration law.”
