I sometimes get a phone call or a knock at the door asking for Police Fundraiser donations. My exact response is:

"I do not give money to extortion racket organizations."

Hopefully it causes a brief moment of ponder for the person asking for those donations.

Sometimes I am able to sneak in "When you got a ticket for going 6 miles over, do you enjoy and take pride paying that ticket, and do you think we need more cops on the road?"

The looks I get are quite entertaining when they stop to think about it ;-)
