Okay so Cuba was brought up recently at the last Univision debate and Paul got booed loudly by the Cuban-americans in the audience.

Is there an intelligent reason why we're continuing the same 45+ year old failure of a policy that hasn't had the results it's planners had hoped for? How can we still justify it while dealing with China the way we do?

I'm just as much of a Castro hating american as the next guy, but come on, he's getting what he needs, how about we let some medicines, food, and family get to those people already? Do we really need to wait for all those older cuban americans to die off before we start using reason regarding u.s.-cuban relations? does anyone really care what some old farts in miami think?
