You've been waiting. Here it is. What it accomplishes is anyone's bet. Is there anyone who still doesn't know who Ron Paul is? Is there anyone not sodden with Kool Aid who believes that Paul's distinctive brand of libertarianism and isolationism can command even a single state in the electoral college?

So he gets shown up in his own comments, and has to resort to insults to get his message through. How professional.

Lots of people don't know who Ron Paul is. The blimp will put his name in front of a lot of people - those who see the blimp personally, hear about it from friends and coworkers who see it, and see it on their local news stations and in their local papers when the blimp flies over.

There are probably people who read his column, wondered who Ron Paul is and what the fuss is about, and did as the sign on blimp suggests. I think this piece falls into the "no publicity is bad publicity" category.
