According to this, McCain spent all but $2 million of what he raised this quarter, but his reported cash-on-hand doesn't include his debts, which the campaign wouldn't comment on. So he could have even less than $2 million left.

Giuliani has about $15 million on-hand; Romney has about $12 million. If Dr. Paul has raised $4-5 million and held onto most of it, it's extraordinary given his lack of mainstream coverage, and it means he's on pace to be able to compete on a state-by-state basis with the establishment candidates by the end of the year.

At any rate, the odds of Ron Paul being in third place financially are very, very good.

This is just speculation, but if the Paul campaign had disappointing totals to report, I'd think they'd be releasing them now so they'd get buried behind news about the front-runners' totals. I'm as eager to see the total as everyone else, but my suspicion is they're waiting for the news for the front-runners to die down before dropping a bombshell.

Excellent work, Harry.

I don't think the campaign has the totals yet of the checks in Texas.

Maybe the totals have already been released and the Old Media is ignoring it.

In further news, Tommy Thompson raised less than $500,000 and only has $125,000 on-hand:

Anything's possible, but I doubt it. Today with the Internet, things like that don't stay secret. Opensecrets.org says they don't have the total:

I think we would be first to hear them from the RP campaign HQ thru email

If it is big news, it will probably be a press release. and I ahve said all along I think if it was bad they would have gottent he numbers out pretty quick (assuming they have the numbers) but I think they will hold off if it is good news.

He is still a more legitimate candidate than Ron Paul

Wow! All of the old media's candidates keep coming out with dissapointing numbers. I feel like we are in a great position, we are building a whole network of supporters/volunteers all across the nation. That is worth millions in its self.
