Simcox pointed to Tancredo, Hunter and Ron Paul as "the candidates who have been true to the Minuteman movement for years."

"These three brought us to the dance and supported us all along," he said. "Those are the candidates our volunteers are out there working to elect, not Mike Huckabee."

Well, if HQ would not have dropped the ball again, we probablywould have gotten it. From http://www.minutemanproject.com/newsmanager/templates/mmp.asp?articleid=264&zoneid=1

"My endorsement of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was not decided over night. It was six weeks in the making.
Governor Huckabee came to me…solicited me for help.

Although I personally sent every candidate for president a certified, registered, return receipt query about his or her position on the immigration chaos, only Governor Huckabee bothered to reply."

Way to ignore an opportunity again HQ.

That's probably true troy, but I don't see why he couldn't research the candidates himself.

I am sure he had, but unless you have something in writing, it is hard to know what they support. I believe I saw the survey as I have went to that site and it had many questions on specific issues related to immigration. They are not easily researched because some where on different intricacies, not generalities. Ron Paul has a reasoned stance on all these things and would have came out great.
Personally, I cannot believe he endorsed Huckster anyway. Out of all the candidates, he is the worst on immigration. He may be tied with ghoul though.

Gilchrist is no longer apart of the Minutemen, has no say in their activities, and he is a moron and was kicked out due to his incompetency.
