Ron Paul campaign opens Springs office

Texas Congressman Ron Paul opens a field office in Colorado Springs today in his bid for the presidency.
While some political observers say Paul is a long shot at best, local supporter Jeff Wright said he’s a viable candidate who appeals to voters looking for a conservative who wants to rein in government.
Wright said a rally will be held at 11 a.m. today at the field office, 2363 N. Academy Blvd.
The office will serve as a hub for campaign activities, including phone banks and shipping and distributing campaign literature.
An office in Denver will open later.
Paul has served in the House from 1976-77, 1979-85 and 1997 to the present. He ran a distant third in the 1988 presidential election as the Libertarian nominee while remaining a registered Republican.
This is great news.
