I'm copying to here a thread I posted at GLP. I'll include the link if you want to look at that thread. When clicking, you may get a page asking you to accept the rules but it's just standard stuff so click away, if you want. Here's the OP:

Three men who reportedly have ties to a neo-Nazi group and had allegedly discussed attacking a Virginia gun rally next week were arrested...

Patrik Mathews, a former reservist in the Canadian Army kicked out of the service over his suspected ties to white supremacist groups...

Mathews worked as a combat engineer and had basic explosives training...

The other two arrested were American citizens — Brian Mark Lemley and William Garfield Bilbrough IV — but what the three of them had in common is that they all had suspected ties to the white supremacist group The Base...

Just copying some of my own posts here. You can read at GLP to see others' responses. Not ONE person there buys this as some organic "white supremacist" thing. Everyone knows it US GOV created:

Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Windom showed the judge a photograph of Bilbrough participating in a military-style training camp with other members of The Base and said Bilbrough had also talked about traveling to Ukraine to fight alongside “nationalists."

(there's the Nazi set up for the "Nazi" story and the govt of Canada is all up with Ukrop Nazis)

“He has personally compared The Base favorably to al-Qaida,” Windom said

(well how about that!)

Lemley and Mathews bought 150 rounds of ammunition and paper shooting targets and Lemley was spotted by an FBI agent at a gun range in Maryland. Court papers say federal agents heard the gun firing in rapid succession .Authorities say Lemley later told Mathews: “Oh oops, it looks like I accidentally made a machine gun.”

(suuuure)

The Anti-Defamation League said members of The Base and other white supremacist groups have frequently posted online messages advocating for “accelerationism,” a fringe philosophy in which far-right extremists “have assigned to their desire to hasten the collapse of society as we know it.”

This reeks of the Southern Poverty Law Center and their involvement in the Oklahoma City bombing and McVeigh. Notice the article also mentions a trip to Alabama which is where the SPLC is.

Sorry. Was going to stick to my posts but this one, from an anon, is important. More arrests:

NEW MEGA BREAKING: Three more suspected neo-Nazis arrested before Virginia gun rights rally, reports say NEW STORY

Three more suspected neo-Nazis connected to a white nationalist group that reportedly planned to have members at a gun rights rally in Virginia have been arrested, media reports say.

Three Georgia men were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and participating in a criminal street gang as part of the hate group, The Base, the Associated Press and Rome News-Tribune reported.

According to the News-Tribune, the three men were arrested a day before three other suspected members of The Base were arrested in Maryland on firearms and alien-harboring charges.

The three Georgia men were identified as Luke Austin Lane of Floyd County, Michael Helterbrand of Dalton and Jacob Kaderli of Dacula, Floyd County police Sgt. Chris Fincher told the Associated Press. Details of the charges were under seal by a judge, the AP and News-Tribune reported.

Wow. She's a VA state senator, I take it? We're totally on the same page.

What I want to know is how do the good people of VA deal with this? IMHO, they need to keep the action at the county level and organize meetings between the 2A/constitutional counties so they all agree on the same plans for refusing any and all "laws" passed by the commies. It would be far better to have coordination between counties rather than one county doing one thing and a different one doing another. They need to consider the West Virginia option, too.

I think she's a state senator.

I've seen suggestions that the protests take place outside the zone.
But whatever happens about the protests they definitely need to coordinate between counties.
And I really hope they try the W. Virginia option just in case it works.

The country has been a powder keg for some time. Let’s hope and pray that cool heads prevail and we keep creeping into our future hell at a nice comfortable pace.

They are telling these people that they can enter the state run mobile prison, get searched by armed government workers, and possibly address grievances with the armed government workers’ bosses, who has made it obvious that they don’t care.

That’s just another example of why the pendulum has already swung way too close to tyranny. We aren’t on the way. We are there. It’s been heading this way for a long time. We watched. The mask is coming off and there’s not eagles and flags behind it.

Yes, I am going. My current plan is to take cameras and document. I plan on talking to as many people as I can, on video, and getting their positions in their own words, because God knows none of the official channels are going to do that... What the people going there believe is a foregone conclusion at this point.

I think a good name for a YT channel would be "Words Have Meanings".

Oh, most definitely.
It's just sometimes people create situations simply because others are hyping it up.
Calm is what is needed. Not people getting all ramped up over rumors. Just want to see a peaceful event, which it has always been in the past. If people keep their minds focused on that, focused on the TRUE purpose of the event and keep that attitude, all the better.
Calm but Cautious.

And just to add. Perhaps the overreaction and tyrannical moves by the Governor in regards to Lobby Day will be a sharp contrast and come into CLEAR focus, when compared to those thousands of peaceful citizens together, from all walks of life, united, standing up for their rights. THAT is what I want to see. And that's what I want EVERYONE to see. Guess we'll see how it goes.

One of the things focused on excessively by the fake news media during the build up to today’s peaceful gun rally in Virginia has been the supposed plotting of neo-Nazis and armed militia groups to storm the Capitol.
Although none of those hysterical fears came to fruition, there were three men accused of being involved with the neo-nazi group The Base that were arrested last week (https://bigleaguepolitics.com/three-gun-owners-arrested-by-federal-agents-in-lead-up-to-showdown-at-virginia-capitol-next-week/). They were arrested on weapons’ charges as well as the bizarre charge of harboring an illegal immigrant from Canada. It was claimed by authorities without any evidence being provided to the public that they were planning a violent display at the Capitol rally.
While this news has been used to demonize all gun owners, startling details have emerged showing that The Base may in fact be a group run by the feds. Another Base member Yousef O. Barasneh, 22, was arrested and charged on Friday with vandalizing a Racine, WI synagogue last year. Court records show that a federal informant had been giving orders to members of the hate group to commit acts of anti-Semitic terror.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported last week (https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/crime/2020/01/17/alleged-member-neo-nazi-group-charged-racine-synagogue-vandalism/4505324002/) that a key leader within “The Base” was a federal informant responsible ordering anti-Semitic terror attacks:

One of the group’s ringleaders became an informant and gave investigators details over the past several months. The documents in Barasneh’s case do not name the person but note he has been federally charged in another state for his role. The man admitted he directed the group to vandalize minority-owned properties, calling it “Operation Kristallnacht,” a reference to Nazi Germany and the night Jewish homes, hospitals and other properties were ransacked and destroyed.
The man told investigators he said: “If there’s a window that wants to be broken, don’t be shy.”

This would not be the first time that the federal government has infiltrated extremist right-wing groups and made domestic terrorists into intelligence assets. The FBI infamously paid off Ku Klux Klan leader George Dorsett (https://indyweek.com/news/northcarolina/the-fbi-main-klan-man-george-dorsett-north-carolina-jfk-files/) of Greensboro, NC for years while he was still burning crosses and fomenting the hatred of minorities.
“So sure, he’d made some fiery speeches, there’s no question about it. But if he hadn’t, he would have been worthless,” said FBI agent Dargan Frierson, who served as Dorsett’s handler, essentially laughing off Dorsett’s role in the terror group while working for the FBI.

The "pro-gun" community is extremely diverse. Virtually all libertarians are pro-gun, but only a tiny fraction of pro-gun people are libertarians. It should surprise no one that revolutionary groups such as white nationalists who think they're going to launch a civil war to overthrow "ZOG" or whatever would be involved in a movement like this. It's no different than revolutionary communists piggybacking on the otherwise fairly mainstream (and righteous) anti-war movement in the 1960s. So, while it's certainly possible that police or intelligence agencies infiltrated this event, that isn't necessary to explain this kind of thing.

It's no different than revolutionary communists piggybacking on the otherwise fairly mainstream (and righteous) anti-war movement in the 1960s. So, while it's certainly possible that police or intelligence agencies infiltrated this event, that isn't necessary to explain this kind of thing.
Earlier this week, Big League Politics reported (https://bigleaguepolitics.com/report-federal-asset-ordered-terror-attack-by-group-allegedly-conspiring-to-storm-virginia-capitol/) that at least one federal informant ordered an act of anti-Semitic vandalism within neo-Nazi group The Base, which was accused of plotting acts of terror at the Virginia Capitol before Monday’s gun rights rally.
Now, The Guardian has revealed (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/23/revealed-the-true-identity-of-the-leader-of-americas-neo-nazi-terror-group) that the founder and the leader of the group was a deep state spook who operated a military intelligence firm that likely contracted with the federal government.
The Base was founded by 46-year-old Rinaldo Nazzaro, who often goes under the aliases of “Norman Spear” and “Roman Wolf.” Until his public unmasking, members of The Base were not made aware of his true identity. They certainly were not made aware of Nazzaro’s history as a military, intelligence and security contractor, although certain members suspected that something was awry.

Nazzaro reportedly began recruiting people to “The Base,” which is the English translation of al-Qaida, in late 2018. His last address is listed as being New Jersey, but The Guardian speculates that Nazzaro may operate out of Russia with his Russian wife.

The article noted that Nazzaro has largely stayed silent, with no presence on social media and no writings published to his name. He told his members in chat rooms to attend real-life meetings and training camps, making it easier for members to be doxxed and exposed. Their internal chats have been released to ANTIFA, the hate group’s left-wing equivalent.

The neo-Nazi group called "The Base" is planning a 'hate camp' this month in Washington. Members are flying in from around the country to Spokane, WA this August to participate in the gathering.#DeBasedDoxx (https://twitter.com/hashtag/DeBasedDoxx?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

When Nazzaro appeared on a white nationalist radio show under an alias, he claimed that his aims were “achieving independence, realizing the ultimate goal which is an independent nation state in the Pacific north-west, an ethnostate.” Nazzaro’s activities have provided fodder for the federal government to use to institute their crackdown against right-wing dissidents in the age of Trump.
“We have a significant increase in racially motivated violent extremism in the United States and, I think, a growing increase in white nationalism and white supremacy extremist movements,” Jay Tabb, the head of national security for the FBI, said at an event in Washington recently.
Before he founded The Base, Nazarro advertised himself as a government and military contractor with years of experience in the field collecting intelligence. He is the principal for Omega Solutions International (OSI), a company offering security and intelligence services.
Before it was taken down, OSI’s website claimed they offered “experience conducting intelligence analysis for government agencies, military organizations, and private businesses.” They have a Cage Code, or Commercial and Government Entity Code, which is given to contractors for Government and Defense agencies in Washington D.C. Certain Base members have suspected their leader to be a fed for quite some time, resulting in several individuals leaving the organization.
