(edited because of a change in plans)

ARE YOU IN THE COLUMBIA, SC AREA? (no longer the Greenville or Anderson area)
We have had an equipment failure (video) and need someone who can pick up a part between in the Columbia area then meet a driver about half way to Atlanta then return the equipment to Columbia.

This is time critical... if you are willing to volunteer please PM or EM me ASAP.
The part is small and size is not an issue.
thanks!

you might want to mention how big the part is so people know if they can fit it their car

It is rather small... it is a piece of video equipment for broadcasting tomorrow. A replacement part is in Atlanta and the owner of the store is willing to drive the replacement part half way... around Anderson. We need someone to meet him and deliver it to the Blimp Team.

Would you like me to contact the meet up groups in the area or have you already done that?

Yes... but, there has been a change in locations:

Whoever does it should get a ride in the Blimp...

Work out a route and then simply pass the parcel through the different meetup groups.

10-4. I have to join the group to post a message. For some reason that group's organizer does not have a link to his email address on the website

I'm doing it though...just waiting for my verification email from Meetup.com so I can join.

Done. Their meetup group is private so you can't see it but, here's my post to the Columbia, SC meetup:

SOS to all Columbia, S.C. members.

Whoot! RP supporters can solve problems WAY FASTER than the guberment :D. It would have taken them 3 months and 1 ream of paper ;)

No permanent damage then?

It was a damaged piece of video equipment which would have prevented streaming video during the flight(s) tomorrow. The owner of the video store in Atlanta agreed to drive all the way to Columbia. He is bring the repair parts with him and will spend tonight with the Blimp team.

Thanks again for everyone who helped.

I can't believe this just happened SO cool! Its crazy to see how connected everyone is withing the RPR. I definately hope all this organization stays together after the campaign and just keeps Ron Pauls picture up in honor as he brought us all initially together. I love this, we should just continue to grow and grow and grow, hell by next election the opposition will have absolute zero chance. We can start supporting a cantidate 4-8 years out depending on if Ron plans on running for a second term =)
