Following a court case that gained national attention, a state legislator in Texas is vowing to introduce legislation prohibiting the use of puberty blockers for children.

The promise from state Rep. Matt Krause (https://house.texas.gov/members/member-page/?district=93) comes after a custody battle over 7-year-old James Younger, who reportedly wants to be a girl according to his mother. But his father, however, claims that is not true and blames the mother for pushing the boy to become a girl named “Luna.”
A jury ruled in favor of the mother, paving the way for her to begin hormone treatments on James, but the family court judge later ruled the divorced parents will make joint medical decisions for the child.
"This is a 7-year-old child," Rep. Krause told the "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" (https://www.tonyperkins.com/) radio program. "I don't know of hardly any other area in culture today where we allow 7-year-olds to make such momentous decisions, especially life-altering ones, irreparable ones if things go wrong."
It is one thing for an 18-year-old, who is considered a legal adult, to make such decisions but not a 7-year-old child, he said.

Only in Trump’s America!

The Austin school district (Texas) will introduce transgender education for children as young as 8-years-old by May 2020.
School children taught about “gender identity and sexual orientation”. The curriculum states that school children will learn differing expressions of gender and how to communicate respectfully about that, along with topics like puberty, reproduction, intercourse, and sexually transmitted diseases and prevention.

The curriculum also states that “sex assigned at birth is independent of gender identity”! Children are instructed to “challenge homophobia” by for example “attending a pride rally” and “being an ally to someone who identifies as LGBT”.
The lessons will teach kids to find an adult to talk to if they get pregnant, and seventh graders will learn to use a condom.

Vice-president of Texas Values, David Walls, said, that this teaches:
children to denounce and challenge fellow students that don’t share their views. The curriculum is an attack on family, on parental rights, on life. It promotes identity confusion by teaching children to dismiss their biological sex. It encourages sexual activity, and it demands that children become advocates in the LGBT political movement. Adoption of this curriculum will send a clear message: people of faith and traditional values are not welcome in Austin ISD.

Parents can choose to keep their children out of these sex, transgender lessons by sending opt-out letters before 3 April 2020.
Over in the UK, efforts to introduce similar LGBT lesson at schools have met with protests, mainly from Muslim parents: https://web.archive.org/web/20191102141451/https://thetexan.news/austin-isd-unanimously-approves-controversial-sex-education-curriculum/ (https://web.archive.org/web/20191102141451/https:/thetexan.news/austin-isd-unanimously-approves-controversial-sex-education-curriculum/)

Donald Trump is known to support the LGBT agenda though…

In 2012, Donald Trump donated $20,000 to homosexual activists of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) that promoted: 1) "fisting" to middle school students; 2) books excusing homosexual paedophilia; 3) “homosexuality" to children as early as kindergarten.
“Fisting” is stuffing a fist into the “anus” for sexual reasons.

Kevin Jennings founded GLSEN in 1990. He and (other) homosexual teachers (including Jaki Williams) began indoctrinating children about the LGBT lifestyle from the age of 5.
This included teachers “casually” showing that a “mother a father” for “parents” is just as “normal” as “two dads” or “two moms”.

Jennings has stated that he was “inspired” by Harry Hay, who publicly stated that homosexual statutory rape is “precisely what 13-, 14-, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world. And they would be welcoming this, and welcoming the opportunity for young gay kids to have the kind of experience that they would need”: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/donald-trump-donated-to-group-that-promotes-homosexuality-in-kindergarten-f

Trump defended this donation, by telling that it wasn’t his own choice. These donations were part of Trump's role in his reality television show, in which Trump would make a matching donation to charities of the choice of the guests on the show.
Aubrey O'Day appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice” and was playing to benefit GLSEN: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/trumps-donations-to-lgbt-groups-were-part-of-reality-tv-show-not-private-ph

The trivial connection you see is not anything.
But even if it was it has nothing to do with forcing "gender transition" on young children.
The weirdosexuals hate Trump and readily point out that he has been rolling back their agenda in office.

The huge amount of publicity for the "weirdosexuals" protesting "against" Trump, certainly won't harm his popularity will it?!?

You make a lot of posts and lots of claims in defence of Donald Trump, who could possibly be THE worst US president in history.

In case I missed anything...
Do you have a single example of a Trump policy that shows that president Donald "has been rolling back their [LGBT] agenda in office"?!?

That would go to Lincoln, followed by FDR. You would have to go through the last four presidents before you get close to Trump. He and his policies are not perfect, but he has done better than I expected he would, and certainly better than any president in recent history.

Yes.

President Donald Trump said he was a different kind of Republican. As someone from liberal New York, he signaled that he would be the person to finally move his political party on LGBTQ issues. He held up (https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/2/23/14706498/trump-lgbtq-transgender-guidance-bathrooms) a Pride flag at a campaign event, and he said (http://www.vox.com/2016/7/21/12254616/trump-acceptance-speech-lgbtq-rnc) the key acronym (“L, G, B, T … Q”) at the 2016 Republican convention.
But Trump’s administration, based on its first year, has been anything but LGBTQ-friendly.
“He campaigned saying that he would be a good friend to LGBT people,” James Esseks, director of the ACLU’s LGBT and HIV Project, told me. “Actions speak far louder than words. And what he’s done has been a wreck.”
In its first year, the Trump administration has tried to reinstate a ban on transgender people in the military. It has nominated multiple people to the courts and elsewhere who have anti-LGBTQ records. It has directed its army of federal lawyers to take the anti-LGBTQ side in court cases. And it has done some extraordinarily petty things, like refusing to recognize Pride Month.

Many of the anti-LGBTQ actions the Trump administration took during its first year got very little attention in the mainstream press, typically receiving a couple of days of coverage at most. But as I reviewed the administration’s record, I was surprised by its breadth and scope. Altogether, it represents a distinctly anti-LGBTQ agenda.
Trump “doesn’t talk a lot about LGBTQ people,” Rebecca Isaacs, executive director of the LGBTQ rights group Equality Federation, told me. “But he’s done so many things that are as anti-LGBTQ as you could possibly be.” She added that they are things that might not seem “as clear as being anti–marriage equality,” but ultimately are anti-LGBTQ.
Here are some of the major anti-LGBTQ actions that Trump took during his first year in office:

He tried to reinstate a ban (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/7/26/16034366/trump-transgender-military-ban) on trans people joining and openly serving in the military. The Obama administration in 2016 announced plans to reverse the ban in 2017. But Trump, in a series of tweets (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/890196164313833472) last July, announced he would bring it back, arguing that trans-related health care is expensive. (Research from the RAND Corporation (http://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RR1530.html) indicates that it would make up “a 0.04- to 0.13-percent increase in active-component health care expenditures.”) So far, Trump’s ban has been stymied by the courts — and trans people are now allowed to openly enlist and serve.
Trump appointed Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court to replace the consistently anti-LGBTQ Antonin Scalia. Although Gorsuch had a vague record on LGBTQ rights when he was nominated, civil rights advocates argued (http://www.hrc.org/blog/hrc-opposes-the-nomination-of-judge-neil-gorsuch-to-the-supreme-court) that, based on some of his past writings on marriage equality and religious issues, he could be a big opponent for LGBTQ equality. In just a few months on the bench, Gorsuch has proven advocates right; for one, he dissented (http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/the_breakfast_table/features/2017/supreme_court_june_2017/neil_gorsuch_is_everything_liberals_feared_and_mor e.html) against a Supreme Court ruling that requires states to list same-sex parents on birth certificates.
Nearly one-third of Trump’s judicial nominees have anti-LGBTQ records, according to Lambda Legal (http://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/365784-advocacy-group-nearly-a-third-of-trump-judicial-nominees-are-anti). These nominees, if accepted by the Senate, may rule on major LGBTQ issues over the next few years, from anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ workers (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/4/5/15186502/gay-rights-discrimination-seventh-circuit) to trans access to bathrooms (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/3/6/14828042/supreme-court-transgender-bathrooms-gavin-grimm).
The Trump administration rescinded (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/2/22/14683572/trump-transgender-schools-guidance) a nonbinding Obama-era guidance that told K-12 schools that receive federal funding that trans students are protected under federal civil rights law and, therefore, schools should respect trans students’ rights, including their right to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity. The Trump administration took back the guidance altogether, arguing trans students aren’t protected under federal civil rights law.
Trump’s Justice Department also rescinded (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/10/5/16429800/trump-sessions-transgender-workers) another Obama-era memo that said trans workers are protected under civil rights law. This has enabled the federal government, including its army of attorneys, to now argue in court that anti-trans discrimination isn’t illegal under federal law. The courts are ultimately independent of the Trump administration, but the federal government can play a big role in legal arguments by throwing its people and resources behind a case.
In a major Supreme Court case, Masterpiece Cakeshop Ltd. v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission (https://www.vox.com/identities/2018/6/4/17424804/masterpiece-cakeshop-supreme-court-baker-ruling-gay-wedding-cake), the Trump administration argued in court in favor of Masterpiece Cakeshop, a bakery that’s claiming First Amendment rights to discriminate against same-sex couples. The case could have potentially enormous repercussions — opening a big loophole in anti-discrimination laws, particularly those that protect LGBTQ people, by letting business owners cite religious or moral justifications to discriminate.
Trump’s Justice Department argued that anti-gay discrimination is legal, filing a friend-of-the-court brief (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/7/27/16049306/trump-sessions-justice-department-lgbtq) claiming that the federal Civil Rights Act doesn’t protect gay and bisexual workers. The lawsuit in this case was filed by Donald Zarda, a skydiving instructor who says an employer, Altitude Express, fired him due to his sexual orientation. The Justice Department in effect argued that this was legal under federal law.
The Justice Department has similarly taken anti-LGBTQ steps in other cases across the country, including one about North Carolina’s anti-trans bathroom law (http://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/state-politics/article136818138.html) and one about discrimination against trans people in health care (https://thinkprogress.org/trump-rescinds-lgbtq-protections-obamacare-3f6315b0ca52/). “We’ve gone from a position where LGBT people are protected to one where we’re not,” Esseks of the ACLU said.
The Trump administration sent out a “religious liberty” guidance (https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/1001891/download) to federal agencies, essentially asking them to respect “religious-liberty protections” in all of the federal government’s work. It’s unclear what kind of impact the guidance will have, but LGBTQ organizations worry that it will be used to justify discrimination against LGBTQ people within the federal government and its work.
The Department of Health and Human Services enacted a new regulation (https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/19/trump-administration-continues-rollback-of-obama-abortion-protections.html) and created an agency (https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2018/01/18/578811426/trump-will-protect-health-workers-who-reject-patients-on-religious-grounds), the Division of Conscience and Religious Freedom, that will purportedly work to ensure health care providers’ religious liberties aren’t violated. LGBTQ groups argue this agency will effectively give doctors, nurses, and other medical staff cover to discriminate against LGBTQ people, because providers will now get protection from the federal government if they cite religious or moral objections to refuse service to LGBTQ patients.
Without explanation, Trump fired (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/30/us/politics/trump-aids-council.html) all the members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS. “It’s outstanding,” Isaacs said. “HIV isn’t only in the LGBTQ community, but it largely is.”
Trump failed to recognize (https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/6/7/15753644/trump-june-pride-month) LGBTQ Pride Month.

And Trump is one of the best Presidents in US history.
