Just designs.. plans for guns.. Plastic guns made with expensive printers.

Home-built guns preexisted...

He only sold plans.
Those were already available.

I built my first Open Bolt Sub Gun as a teenager..

I built my first Open Bolt Sub Gun as a teenager..

They would want him to perhaps engage in entrapment and at least engage in "under the table" warrantless spying to find anything they could find to bring down the people involved.

I can't say that he agreed to such a thing but anyone dealing with him should be aware of the possibility and take appropriate caution.
