Oh they're leaving all right...and spreading their mental sickness everywhere else.

Those that left are now in Oregon and Washington State, lose lose for everyone.

Huge mistake for PG&E.

They are doing a combination of kneeling to the safety Nazis and engaging in some vindictive compliance.

But what they have really done is waste money, created a whole bunch of new liabilities, admitted guilt, and generated enough bad blood for the communists to “nationalize” them.

Brilliant!

Petroleum price gouging is a sacred tradition in Kalifornia. Don’t you believe in capitalism?

Prepared..

But I'll bet there are few trunks with one of those in it.

Electricity can be generated anyplace there is Sun,, wind or moving water. and charge the batteries.

In six months all that gas in tanks will be varnish.

there are practical advantages to EVs beyond the ""eco" bull$hit..

True enough...in the short term you can't carry a Jerry can of electrons though.

And you can run an ICE vehicle on a wood gasifier if it came down to it.

I know you're a fan of the electrics, and there are some upsides no doubt.

Not able to run is not a 'practical advantage' .

I'm in the process of burning 3 y/o ethanol fuel out of the '56, stinks to high heaven!

It would certainly clog injectors and plug catalytic converters..

Cleaning a glass float bowl and running a piece of .030 wire through the one barrels jet is painless...

And gas engines won't run without a constant supply of Gas..

Which some of you think can't be cut off regardless of how dependent on it you are.

Watch what happens when the Straits are closed...

I'm looking at alternatives...

Also good.. around a neighborhood with the resources..

I am thinking of a Motorhome conversion... with a generator for Hybrid mode.. Could get a couple hundred miles on batteries alone.
And Charge as you go is way more efficient use of Fuel.

Drawback is the initial set up.. Batteries are still too Pricey. Though the tech makes them doable.

Hemp Batteries and Supercaps may be a game changer....and I am watching that.
