What does it take to get an appearance from Ron Paul to set up a fundraiser in a given area? It would be neat for my area to get some love, politicians generally ignore the hell out of WV, and with heavy labor union influences, it's traditionally been a blue stronghold. I think that could change with a little help from Ron Paul, the NRA, and folks like you and me.
So how does one get Ron Paul to come around? A personal appearance here would turn a *LOT* of heads, and given the fact that a lot of these people who usually vote democrat are actually pretty conservative in a lot of ways, an NRA-sponsored fundraiser with Dr. Paul talking about the constitution (big focus on the second amendment) that could totally be blown out of the water.

I think your best bet would be to get a whole bunch of people to demand that he go there on eventful.com

Here's a link that might help a bit:

You can join the meetup in your area and try to get everyone to write Ron to come visit your area as well:

There is no meetup in the area. This isn't a hardcore 'internet-savvy' region, really - I'm working on a plan to get some students I have in my pocket to start a student org at West Virginia University - that'll bring in some real numbers.

I see CurtisLow who I know is registered her has placed a demand for Pittsburgh, PA - there're a bunch of RP supporters I've dug up from the SWPA/NCWV area, maybe we should get together say in Washington, PA some time? I go up there all the time anyways (nearest krispy kreme... there's crack in those donuts, man.)
