Bernie Sanders Cancels Campaign Events After Emergency Heart Surgery

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/02/bernie-sanders-cancels-campaign-events-after-emergency-heart-surgery/

HANNAH BLEAU 2 Oct 2019

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) underwent emergency heart surgery, installing two stents in an artery, and has canceled all campaign events “until further notice,” his campaign announced Wednesday morning.

Sanders’ Senior Advisor Jeff Weaver said in an emailed statement that Sanders, 78, “experienced some chest discomfort” during a campaign event on Tuesday. A medical evaluation determined that he had a blockage in an artery, and two stents were “successfully inserted.”

Weaver said Sanders conversing and “in good spirits.” However, they are canceling all of his campaign activities until further notice.

The statement reads:

During a campaign event yesterday evening, Sen. Sanders experienced some chest discomfort. Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days. We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.

According to the doctor’s note Sanders released in 2016, Sanders has no history of heart disease.

This is heartbreaking.

Hopefully there is an emergency flight in route to Cuba to get him some of the healthcare he deserves.

I think you picked the wrong C socialized medicine country. You can still make your point with Canada, they have socialized medicine but instead you picked one under US economic attack, I will switch Cuba with Canada for other reasons too, its an emergency and they are closer to Vermont than Cuba :). I am not sure what it says about socialized medicine or Cuba/Canada but I will pick Canadian/Cuban healthcare system over dozens of countries without socialized medicine.

Right, because arteries just get blocked in 3 years to the point of needing stents inserted. They're lying, or he needs a new doctor.

21. The CIA Assassinates A Lot Of People (Church Committee): The Church Committee is the common term referring to the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, a U.S. Senate committee chaired by Senator Frank Church in 1975. A precursor to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, the committee investigated intelligence gathering for illegality by the CIA and FBI after certain activities had been revealed by the Watergate affair. The Committee uncovered, among many other things, that the CIA had violated its charter to perform only gathering of intelligence. For example, the assassinations of Allende in Chile and Mossadegh in Iran. Assassinations against Central and South American leaders and revolutionaries, as well as Africa, Middle East and East Asia. The list was tremendous. They even declassified a “Heart Attack Gun” the Agency had made for the use of killing someone without it being detected. Cancer, car accidents, skiing accidents, suicide, boating accidents, heart attacks, and just plain being shot were common assassination methods. The hearings, although recorded in full in congressional record, the mainstream media and official policies, is still largely not taught in American schools on recent history. The American public still has no idea this was ever actually confirmed or even took place. It is common for people to still refer to any of these assassinations as a joke or made up conspiracy.

Watch the one-minute video below for the description of a former CIA secretary and Congressional testimony on this secret assassination weapon which caused heart attacks.

This is a crazy group.
Usually the complaint is that the candidates are lackluster. This time they are all demented, idiots or insane. Just think when Obama ran in 2008. If they were asked if we should have tax funded abortion, those candidates would at least give a BS answer about looking at it from different angles. Now they say they want paid abortion for male to female trannies. Tulsi is the only one who even appears presidential.

Hillary Clinton left the door very wide open today when she was asked to respond to speculation she’ll be a late entrant into the race for Democratic nomination for president.
During a Wednesday appearance on The View, co-host Abby Huntsman told Clinton her sister is “convinced” that the failed 2016 candidate will get into the 2020 race “in six months.”

She was clearly uncomfortable with the question, and was thinking of what to say, don’t know how to read it, looks like she’s holding something back, and Chelsea looks like she doesn’t know what to say. What do you think? #Hillary2020 (https://twitter.com/hashtag/Hillary2020?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) #HillaryClinton (https://twitter.com/hashtag/HillaryClinton?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) #TheView (https://twitter.com/hashtag/TheView?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) #StillWithHer (https://twitter.com/hashtag/StillWithHer?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) pic.twitter.com/ardNo7fh30 (https://t.co/ardNo7fh30)

“Six months?” an aghast Hillary responded, looking at her watch, seemingly indicating as though that would be too late.
Shaking her head as the other hosts asked if she was going to announce a campaign, “I would come here if I did,” Clinton responded, “I would quickly come here.”
“That’s not a no,” Huntsman noted.

I quit smoking cigarettes nearly 20 years before he did, so that's a start. I've managed to bring down my blood pressure significantly in the last 2 years as a direct result of not smoking, and other mental health changes, and I don't drink alcohol but maybe once or twice a year now. I've never had an issue with alcohol by any stretch, drank a lot while in the USCG but never on a dependent level, I guess I've never liked it enough for it to become a problem, lol.

I workout more in one week than he did his entire life, I'm trying.

I am srry to include you on the list. But he could have still given you a rep of some kind for your post. As someone who worked on a heart unit, I know that one can easily develop enough plaque in their arteries over 3 years to need a stent. I have seen a patient who got the same artery re-stended in 3 years. It very possible that his cardiologists did not notice the growing plaque in his arteries the last time he came in for a check up. Its not like they put you through a hearth cath when you come in for a check up and if they plaque is small enough, the labs would look just fine when you get tested.

I would have given you a rep if I didn't think your post was full of misinformation about heart problems :) But carry on

I promise you, your friend's issue is not the norm in Canada. Its most likely that someone misplaced the order for the test and forgot to run it, my guess is the issue is a medical error of some form. You can get a your TSH results at a Nigerian teaching hospital in about 3 days and it is a govt owned and run hospital system. I have a hard time believing that you get better numbers in Nigerian than in Canada.

The doctors who operated on the heart of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) earlier this week have confirmed that the Democrat presidential contender did in fact suffer a heart attack, despite widespread reports to the contrary.

In their official statement, the doctors noted that Sanders suffered from a “myocardial infarction,” which is the technical term for heart attack.

He's going to come back on the campaign trail complaining about how much all this costs, even though he's a millionaire and we're paying for it because he's a Senator anyway. I can hardly wait.

Here’s to hoping he gets super worked up about it.

Surprised Jules, as resident expert, didn't clarify this. All MI's are heart attacks but not all heart attacks are MI's. There are other conditions which can create an ischemic condition in the heart muscle.

The Democrats really need Bernie at this point. From a fundraising point of view he is the Ron Paul of the party. He generates a lot of money, most from small-dollar contributors.

It’s a fact. She tried to explain it to me at the time, but socialism never makes very much sense.

At the same time, I live in a medical Mecca. There are 9 hospitals here. Two of them are teaching hospitals. Competition for patients is very high.

Bernie Sanders says he will “change the nature of the campaign” after a heart attack last week, scaling back the number of rallies and appearances in early primary states.“We were doing, in some cases, five or six meetings a day, three or four rallies and town meetings and meeting with groups of people,” he told reporters outside of his Burlington, Vermont, home after visiting his cardiologist Tuesday. “I don’t think I’m going to do that.”
Sanders also acknowledged that the heart attack would likely raise questions about his age. “Everything that happens every day weighs on how people think about you. You look at the totality of who a candidate is,” he said.

I'm sure he'll use that to push government healthcare soon.
