So this morning I drove about an hour to see the blimp take off. It was a pretty exciting event. Afterward, I stuck around for a while and talked to one of the guys who made it happen.

Here's the only picture I could find of me so far on the internet. You can see my ear behind the man with the flowers.

All in all, it was a pretty cool event. There were about 3 dozen friendly folks out there. Hopefully, the blimp will attract more and more attention in the coming days.

No I am not. I live in Virginia Beach. I'm not a member of any meet up group at this time. I'm thinking about joining one, but haven't had the time or energy to seriously commit to anything beside college.
