A drug used to block puberty in children with gender dysphoria is responsible for the death of over 6,300 people, according to the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

“The drug is clinically approved for treatment of precocious puberty, a condition where children start their pubertal processes at an abnormally early age and the blocker is administered for a short time until the proper age,” the outlet continues.
Citing FDA data, the article reads, “Between 2012 and June 30 of this year, the FDA documented over 40,764 adverse reactions suffered by patients who took Leuprolide Acetate (Lupron), which is used as a hormone blocker. More than 25,500 reactions logged from 2014-2019 were considered ‘serious,’ including 6,370 deaths.”

This is fine. The real problem are those people who vape to quit smoking. These people have no idea what they are doing to their body's by not constantly inhaling arsenic and the 68 other know carcinogens found in cigarettes. What is even worse are the countless children quitting smoking and vaping instead. They even have bubblegum flavors.

A big plus to all this is science progresses, horrible experiments are done on people voluntarily. No need for unethical forced experiments when you can brainwash people into volunteering.

And I'm willing to bet they allow for what's called "black label" prescribing. The docs did it with several of my ex wife's meds, using meds to treat things they weren't approved for.

Hmmmm. Looks to me that the FDA approved the drug specifically for use in children to block puberty. Since the FDA does not practice medicine, it is up to an licensed clinician to determine the necessity of the intervention.

Main use of Lupron is for prostate cancer and endometriosis. Deaths could be from cancer- or just being old- not necessarily kids.

Lupron Injection (leuprolide acetate) is a synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone used in men to treat symptoms of prostate cancer, and in women to treat symptoms of endometriosis (overgrowth of uterine lining outside of the uterus) or uterine fibroids. Lupron Injection is also used to treat precocious (early-onset) puberty in both male and female children. Common side effects of Lupron Injection include:

Adverse effects can be reported by anybody including regular folks- not just doctors- and are not verified as having been caused by the medication. An "adverse reaction" can be as minor as itching at the injection site.

Out of 25,318 adverse reactions reported since 1984 (a 35 year period), 244 were kids ages 12- 17- an average of just seven a year.
