Ron Paul 2008 PCC Opens First of Two Offices in Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, December 13, 2007 – Republican Presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul has opened the first of two offices in Colorado today. The Colorado Springs office will serve as a hub for the campaign’s activities in Southern Colorado. The Denver office will be the site of the campaign’s headquarters, and is scheduled to open later this month.

“We intend to compete and win here,” said Ron Paul’s Colorado and Wyoming State Coordinator Carl Bruning. “Ron Paul’s campaign has lit a prairie fire for liberty all across this country. People are excited to have a true conservative Republican who defends the Constitution and our freedoms.”

“Dr. Paul’s ideas are very popular,” Bruning added. “He believes in a strong national defense and secure borders, a non-interventionist foreign policy, free markets and free trade, a sound monetary policy, and eliminating the income tax. Dr. Paul was a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, and an OB/GYN doctor delivering over 4,000 babies. He has been married to his wife Carol for over 50 years. As President, he will fight for life, families, education, medical freedom, the right to keep and bear arms, and our civil liberties. He will restore the Republic given to us by the founding fathers.”

The Grand Opening and Open House of the Southern Colorado Field Office, located at 2363 N. Academy Boulevard, will take place on Saturday, December 15th, at 11am MST. Visitors may call 719-573-7933 for information. Snacks and beverages will be served.

“I’m excited about sharing Ron Paul’s message of prosperity and hope,” said Charlie Aligaen, a Ron Paul campaign volunteer. “I encourage everyone to come down to our open house, pick-up some campaign literature, and get involved. And remember to attend your GOP precinct caucus on February 5th, 2008. Together we can make history. Be a part of it!”

Ron Paul has finished first in the majority of the straw polls and the national Republican debates. With three weeks left in the fourth quarter, his presidential campaign has raised over $10.8 million – more than double his impressive third quarter total of $5.28 million. He has received more campaign contributions from current and past military personnel than any other candidate. “As a former U.S. Air Force pilot, I support Dr. Ron Paul, and know that he would be an excellent President and Commander in Chief,” said Bruning.
