While we are spending $Trillions for spreading freedom and our way of life in other countries, much work remains to be done at home also.
Also very irresponsible of some commenters who tried to link this finding to MAGA's old "grab them by the p-word" audio tape controversy.

For 1 in 16 US women, first sexual intercourse experience was rape, study says

Kristin Lam, USA TODAY Published 8:57 p.m. ET Sept. 16, 2019

Long before the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements shook Hollywood, everyday women faced sexual harassment in the workplace. Many still do. USA TODAY

The first experience with sexual intercourse (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2018/03/23/sex-ed-metoo-era-consent-parents/419690002/) for more than 3 million U.S. women, many in their teens, was forced or coerced, according to study published Monday.
Those women faced more long-term health consequences compared to peers who had a voluntary first experience, according to the study in the JAMA Internal Medicine (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine/article-abstract/2751247).
Researchers based their analysis on an annual survey (https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg/index.htm) by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which asked women ages 18 to 44 if they chose to have sex for the first time of their own free will. Of the respondents who answered no, sometimes reporting multiple types of coercion, about 56% described being verbally pressured, 46% said they were held down and 25% said they were physically harmed.

classifying "verbally pressured" as "rape" seems a bit disingenuous.

if that is the standard, then I have been robbed by many women who verbally pressured me to spend money on things for them.

"Rape" in today's language is subjective.

Hence a useless and irrelevant article.

I actually know somebody quite well who lost her virginity to rape.

So she told me. So I was confused when her rapist ended up having the first name as her first husband.

Turns out, she married her rapist a year later.

Go figure.

Also happens to be a staunch pro-lifer who has had an abortion.

Go figure.

That is how I see it . These numbers are as useless as possible because of dishonesty.

If it was not for pretty women and beer I might still have more than 2K of the first 700K I made.
