Oh yes, this is the same story as California. People flee California in massive numbers to escape socialism.

Unfortunately, it's like a disease, and all they end up doing is transmitting the disease to their new location.

I live near Austin, TX. Seems like a lot of Californians come here, bid up the downtown properties, then bemoan the lack of affordable housing for the poor folks in the city. At least they allow camping on the streets downtown now. :D

California has always been a testing ground for the Fed. It's not the people= it's the controlled gov.

Fk the Fed, but you're talking out your ass again, the Fed did not create Ca's environment of lawless
sanctuary cities and insane environmental policies, those are socialist , globalist ideals like yours
and PAF's.

I was just going to say what Sword just said, it's both, neither of these women
have a clue what they are talking about, shocking I know, but they come
for the handouts.
Surely there are a few coming for capitalism, but most come for triple or quadruple wages
and welfare, most receive welfare.

All but a tiny fraction will vote the Open Border, liberal idiot ticket.

"Globalist ideas".

I stand for Private Property Rights, Contract Rights, Natural Rights outlined in the BoR's, Individual liberty, self sufficiency, End Welfare, the IRS and the Fed.

You stand for Government Eminent Domain, taking land from rightful owners well before this government existed, which creates the necessity to police state The Wall, while driving businesses out of business, or report them to the government if they are able to stay in business, for hiring who they want without government permission slips. Thus creating a need for "papers please", government databases and random company "inspections". Global/corporatist lobbyists profit by loss of individual freedom to build The Wall (I started a thread on said Globalist companies), biometrics, and other apparatus including the over-head associated with it, funded by the Fed which takes money from the Jane and Joe Blow the taxpayer. Prices go up because mom and pop companies can no longer find workers, government steps in to raise the minimum wage to attract Section 8 folks who will continue to flip the finger as long as they get the monthly check without going to work. The $1 Billion PER DAY economy at that border gets all mucked up, Trump who already signed it will wait for the democrats to pass the USMCA in an attempt to "balance" things out between Mexico and U.S. to attract "legal" workers who will "Fund the Fed", setting us up nicely for a North American Union.

Instead of shutting off the welfare spigot and letting the Free Market economy work it out without all of the government interference.

Tell me again whose ideas are GLOBALIST?

Your open border stance is childish and moronic, supported by the fact that it works
nowhere on earth, yet you promote it with your every breath on this forum, this
forum allows you to post your constant gibberish, shame on us , shame on the RPF for
ignoring 'our' mission statement and giving you a platform for your Open Border agenda,
day in and day out.

Omg, that is creepy , this supports the Trollbot scenario, he doesn't know wtf he
stands for , just what the Globalists pay him to 'push' .

Side note;
The media over works this 'trafficking' cliché to death, to the point it
loses its impact.
I get the human trafficking label , that definition should be held closely to what amounts
to kidnapping and slavery .

When you have a broker for sex , a madam etc, that's just prostitution and shouldn't be
a dirty word.

Liberals don't want women to be free, they prefer shackles, and only pretend to care about them.

I am split on the prostitution question and think it should be determined locally.
Pure libertarianism would say that government should not be involved but Classic conservatism would say that GOD curses communities that countenance such sins.

I ignored PAF's position on prostitution because it is libertarian and an arguable position that I am not deeply opposed to but then he started invading threads about human trafficking of sex slaves to claim it didn't exist.............................

Surely it exists but prostitution is not human trafficking and prostitution is not sex slavery.
Sex Slavery would be what you just said ; sex slaves, yea , that would be human trafficking but
prostitution is not, IMV, different topics entirely.

......

God sounds like big government guy. Maybe he should mind his own business instead of using government violence to get between voluntary transactions.

And no. Local governments should not be able to restrict prostition anymore than they should be able to restrict guns, gambing, or drug use. It is interesting to me the hysteria over even the tiniest commonsense regulation on guns but not nearly the reaction on the zillion other infringements. Pretty incoherent to not defend prostitution with the same energy as gun ownership.

GOD is the creator and he has given us moral rules for our own good.

The right to own weapons for self-defense and the defense of your other rights is not a sin and is completely different from prostitution.

I am not really a big fiction reader so I don't know what he says is a sin and what isn't.

Luckily we aren't a theocracy and have no reason to consult mystical writings for government policy.

Glad to see the very first comment pointed that out.

Massholes, Ill-Annoyists, Calfornicators...the list is endless.

Flee high tax shithole states, move to low tax freedom and prosperity states, and then immediately start voting for the same big government they just fled.

Just like the foreign invaders.

I am completely anti socialist/globalist- I am for FREEDOM & LIBERTY- maybe you should study up & find out what those words truly mean.

And, yes, the Fed did create the mess in Calif from the beginning- they used most of the conquered west as testing grounds.

And- since people usually call others what they are, what does that make you?

LOTS of people support everything the government does.
They don't all support each thing but each thing has lots of support.
