Ok people, if you were putting off e-mailing all of your friends and family (like me) about the tea party DO NOT WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY!

People will probably leave work early today, go shopping maybe...then tomorrow they'll all be out shopping again. I know I hardly check my e-mail on the weekend and I'd wager that 75% of the general public doesn't either.

Here's what needs to happen. Don't just e-mail Ron Paul supporters...find every e-mail address in every e-mail that you've ever received (I know, a bit of work there...just try to get a lot) and send a generic e-mail out...here's what I'm working on (proofread please):

Subj: Historic event planned! Be part of it!!!

My fellow Americans. You have the opportunity to be involved in a huge historic event planned for Sunday December 16th! It was on this day in 1773 that early Americans tossed tea overboard in a symbolic gesture of their displeasure with King George's taxes. This event helped to spark the American Revolution which gave us a free country which was a shining example to all of the world as the pillar of liberty.

With our freedoms diminishing and our liberties taken away we have an opportunity this December 16th to send a message to President George and all those who would want to take away our freedoms here in America.

You may have heard of Ron Paul and his campaign for presidency. If you haven't, he is the Founding Father of our time. A truly principled and honest man with the record and consistency to prove it. He has fought for our freedoms as a US Congressman since first elected in 1976 and now he is running for president. But he does not accept lobbyist money or money from big corporations. His money all comes from the people, people like you and I.

On November 5th Ron Paul made history by bringing in the largest online donation haul in US history at $4.3 million in 24 hours. This made huge news and many of you probably saw a story or two about this historic event.

Well, that $4.3 million was after just 2 weeks of planning. We've been planning on the Dec. 16th fund drive for over a month and it is looking to be a historic event such that it may just be the start of America's second revolution toward freedom that we all so desperately deserve. Intrade.com has put odds on the day's haul to be $6 million, we currently have almost double the amount of pledges for Dec. 16th than we had on Nov. 5th, this has been mentioned in the media, on TV, in a one page ad in USA Today, radio, newspaper articles...THIS WILL BE HUGE!

Even if you don't care about politics, even if you've never donated to a politician in your life, you can get in on the ground floor of something that will be talked about for many months to come. You will have that great feeling that you were part of something BIG. You have a chance to not be one of those people who listen to the news about something and think...wow, that's pretty amazing...you can be the news, you can be one of the people who experienced it first hand.

What do you need to do to help make history?

1. Go to http://www.teaparty07.com RIGHT NOW and sign up as over 30,000 other people have.
2. On December 16th (This Sunday) go to http://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate and donate whatever you can, even small donations help.
3. Forward this e-mail to everyone in your e-mail list. They don't have to be into politics, they only have to love freedom and love America.

On December 16th you can watch first hand as the tally is shown live at http://www.ronpaul2008.com It is truly an amazing site to see thousands of Americans across the country showing their support.

Don't forget to let others in on the ground floor of this historic event.

On November 5th Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul broke the single day GOP fundraising record by raising $4.2 million in a 24-hour period from an unprecedented 37,000 Americans.

This Sunday, December 16, in commemoration of the Boston Tea Party, Ron Paul’s campaign will set the all-time single day fundraising record in an event called the “Ron Paul Tea Party” (http://www.teaparty07.com). Paul supporters are expected to turn out en masse, braving frigid conditions in Boston to rally for Paul. Other, smaller, rallies will occur across the country. You can see this fundraising record set real-time by visiting Ron Paul’s official campaign website (www.ronpaul2008.com) on Sunday.

Who IS Ron Paul, you ask?
Ron Paul is the only candidate who . . .
- reminds us that the Constitution places no limits on the People, only limits on the government.
- plans to use our military strength to protect our country by bringing all our troops home.
- aims to phase out the IRS and replace it with . . . nothing!

Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol for 50 years, and they share five children, 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Dr. Paul served as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force from 1963-65 and achieved the rank of captain before serving in the Air National Guard until 1968. Following his service, Dr. Paul would eventually deliver more than 4,000 babies as an OB/GYN in Texas.

Over his 10 terms as a Republican congressman, Dr. Paul has become our nation’s foremost champion of the Constitution. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget and never voted himself a pay raise nor participated in the lucrative Congressional pension plan. In fact, he did not even allow his children to accept government subsidized loans for college. No wonder the National Taxpayer’s Union named Paul the “Taxpayer’s Best Friend”.

I hope you will join me in supporting the most successful grassroots candidacy in our nation’s history. As one writer put it, “No longer can it be said that Ron Paul is running for President. Amazingly enough, his candidacy has been hijacked, and it appears now that the people are running for President. . . through Ron Paul!” (http://www.newsli.com/2007/12/06/presidential-candidate-ron-paul-bears-an-empty-pot-for-americans/)

Yours in Liberty,
Steve McCormack

“Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country.” – Ronald Reagan

Subj: Historic event planned! Be part of it!!!

There are times in our past when an historic event is remembered. If you were in Boston in 1773 on December 16th would you want to be one of the people who tossed tea overboard or would you want to be one of the people that heard about it later? Did they know it was going to make history? Probably not, but it did.

You have an opportunity to be part of history on this anniversary of the Boston Tea Party that will be the start of a second wave of freedom that this country so richly deserves. Or you can just hear about it in the Monday news and think...wow, that was quite an event.
