President Donald Trump warned Saturday that “consideration is being given” to declaring antifacist protesters — Antifa — a “terror” organization. He issued the threat even though Antifa followers haven’t been linked to a single killing, while the death toll of far-right extremists is surging.

Trump’s warning follows a nonbinding resolution introduced earlier this month by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) calling for the “designation of Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.” Cruz later called on Attorney General William Barr to investigate Antifa. He attacked Antifa after conservative journalist Andy Ngo was bloodied in a clash last month with counterprotesters in Portland, Oregon.

Lawbreakers driven by political ideology aren’t charged in the U.S. with domestic terrorism, but rather with offenses such as assault, hate crimes or homicide. But designating antifascist protesters as a terror organization would allow law enforcement more leeway to investigate participants, as well as their affiliations, according to Georgetown University law professor Neal Katyal, a former national security adviser to the Justice Department.

Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!

The declaration appears to come after conservative journalist Andy Ngo appeared on Fox News to discuss the Antifa attack he sustained last month. Ngo was beaten, had "milkshakes" filled with cement mixers thrown at him and his GoPro camera was stolen. He suffered a brain injury as a result of the beating.

Earlier this month, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA) introduced legislation that would label Antifa a terrorist organization. Cruz and Cassidy's resolution was in direct response to Antifa's attacks on Ngo in Portland last month.

Last year, the Washington, D.C. chapter of Antifa, known as Smash Racism, harassed Cruz and his wife while they were dining at a public restaurant. They posted a tweet saying he wasn't safe, The Daily Caller reported.

“No — you can’t eat in peace — your politics are an attack on all of us You’re [sic] votes are a death wish. Your votes are hate crimes,” Smash Racism DC wrote. “Tonight Senator Ted Cruz arrived at Fiola, an upscale restaurant mere steps from the White House, to enjoy a hearty Italian dinner. He could have dined on a lavish four course meal for only $145 while millions of Americans struggle to buy groceries. He might have sampled from the top shelf wine list as migrant children languish in cages.”

This if confirmed as non-fakenews would be huge and esstablish MAGA as a bold leaders with solid principles.

As a bonus, such a step would also erase divisive 'lyin Ted' label and improve iimage of MAGA's credibility among some of his current/former supporters lately questioning his leadership record after he hosted ahigh profile BLM activist at the White House. WN Richard Spencer who led the so called "Unite The Right" rally against ANTIFA & BLM in Charlottesville SC recently said on CNN that MAGA was playing a 'con game'.
