Gilmore's not a terrible guy. He is well-liked in Virginia and is most identified with ending the hated car tax. In a smaller field, he might be harder for us to beat than Rudy or McCain. Of course, he's no Ron Paul!

He doesn't seem like a terrible guy, it's just that I can't for the life of me figure out why he's there and what he stands for. He looks very dour and irritable most of the time, and tends to pander a lot to the Authoritarian "traditional values" wing of the Republican Party. He may be a good guy, but the thought of his finger on "the button" is a bit unsettling to me.
