Tommy Robinson is set to ask President Donald Trump to give him emergency political asylum in the United States.
Last week, the activist was found in contempt of court over a Facebook Live broadcast of defendants in a criminal trial. Robinson and his supporters claim he was merely engaging in journalism in covering a sexual grooming gang case at Leeds Crown Court in May 2018.
Robinson now faces a maximum penalty of two years in jail.
However, he is set to ask for emergency political asylum in America over fears his life is at risk. Robinson told the BBC he was convicted “for who I am, not what I have done”.
Robinson is set to appear on both the Alex Jones Show today and Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show at some point this week to make the asylum request.

This is the only legit P. A. case I've heard of in the last few years, but the US won't take him ;
he speaks English and his skin is too light.

he speaks English and his skin is too light. He's appealing to Trump directly. If Trump says yes then the bureaucrats won't be making the decision. But Dems will cry foul if Tommy bypasses the usual process. I won't be surprised if Tommy has to go through the usual processing for optics reasons.

Show me an example of a non violent communist or nazi potential political refuge. I don't know of any and can't imagine one since by definition they wish do use the power of the state to harm the bourgeois or Jews.

If you are including the results of their ideology then we are possibly in agreement or at least closer than if you don't.

According to TDS sufferers like zippy, the rise of Muslim originated rape in Europe are merely a statistical error

I watched that self-made Tommy Robinson documentary where that guy from the BBC tried to get one of his friends to lie about sexual harassment, then flopped around like a fish when confronted on it. I still got no idea why he's persecuted other than not having the right opinion, o answered my own question

That's what did Tommy in, ultimately. After he put it online, some apparatchik in the Labour party went to Facebook, YouTube and others to ask them to ban Tommy Robinson. Facebook got rid of him, YouTube made his channel effectively invisible and Twitter did him in long ago. Then, after they unperson him on the big-tech cartels, they move to re-charge him on the ridiculous contempt of court charges he was already released on months prior.

The sinister moves by the UK government against this man are astounding.

Wait a second, what's with this? The trumpettes and shylls keep propagandizing here dozens of times daily about how they want no immigrants at all, calling them names like "invaders", "socialists", etc. Now there's some guy from a country with a socialist healthcare system who wants to immigrate, and instead of being called names, he's suddenly being cheered on by those very same trumpettes and shylls. So much for the credibility of those claiming that there shouldn't be any immigrants and that immigrants destroy our country, lol.

Is a "contempt of court" charge serious enough to justify a claim for political asylum? If so, does that mean the asylum seekers from Latin America may have a better argument for their own requests for asylum?

He is worried that he will get killed by the Muslim grooming gangs he was exposing. If you recall he had to spend his last spell in prison in solitary confinement for HIS OWN PROTECTION!

I don't see anyone saying we should have no immigrants ever.

I didn't realize people sought asylum based on "charges." I thought it was because their lives were in danger. Are people from Latin America fleeing "charges"?
