Every Christmas, I end up getting stuff as Christmas gifts that I really can't use or don't care for. It's a waste for everyone concerned. However, this year, I've made it clear that if they want to give me something for Christmas, they can give me something very meaningful by simply making a donation to the Tea Party. At first, they thought I was joking around. I had to explain to them how important this is and why it matters so much. So, two of my family members gave me my "Christmas gift" last night. I'll be passing it along tomorrow. ;)

It would mean better donation numbers if they were to donate it.

Oops! Yes, Sunday. I think they may be donating too. I'm working on them.

I did the same thing, also for my bday which just passed. Got my dad to donate, who probably has never donated to a campaign in his life. :)

Did the same, and couldn't be more excited about it!

I like this idea. Lots of people get gift cards they don't want or will never redeem.

Can we promote it? Christmas for Paul, or something like that. Everyone would donate on the 24th. Short notice, but it might cause another (smaller) donation bump after the 16th.

This idea has been promoted many times on this board and most of the posts now are in the holiday section.

I also made a video:
