Fareed Zakaria: US faces a crisis with its asylum system - http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?536410-Fareed-Zakaria-US-faces-a-crisis-with-its-asylum-system

CNN's Fareed Zakaria explains how a system set up in the aftermath of WWII has come to act as a vehicle for entry for desperate migrants who cannot enter the US legally.

They should be so proud.

I always pictured Texans having a little ceremony at The Alamo where they read the roll of the fallen and conclude with the Pledge of Allegiance with a flyover from one of the three nearby Air Force bases .

That would be amazing. I wonder if I can apply for citizenship and re-commit myself to America.

See, the issue here is that you equate being an American with being a US Citizen, even though the truth is that the former is a state of physical being (living body and soul on this land mass) and the latter is simply a legal status (legal property of the federal corporation based in DC, which has no jurisdiction outside of DC except by that legal status).

This administration, after Obama's socialism, has used "nationalism" to divert the conversation away from "individual" freedom and liberty. This happens repeatedly about every 8 years - on average.
