The folks there have been saturated with messages. They are getting several a day from all sorts of us. I am now getting HATE mail for sending anything out. We have hit them already. Let's leave them alone and go find other sources that we have not told about the tea party.

i got one... and it looks like they made the profile just to send out info on teaparty. if i wasnt already convinced and knew about it i probably woulda just deleted it like all the other spam i get.

if you're gonna do this, do it from your own myspace so it looks legit and not spammy...

All of us promoting on myspace just have to be responsible promoting. I see lots and lots of myspace promoters posting soooooo many bulletins, like 10 at a time lol. And for some odd reason people get all pissed off if you post a lot of bulletins. That doesn't bother me, my friends can post 20 a minute for all I care, but most people get annoyed by it for some reason idk.

So just mainly watch how many bulletins you're posting. I don't think messages or comments are a big problem since it takes so long to message or comment a lot of people. Its a lot faster to add lots of friends and mostly post bulletins in my opinion, and thats what I do.

That's the problem with lack of coordination. Some people probably received tens of messages while some received none. Now try to send an another message about teaparty to anyone from the first group - no suprise they would be pissed off (sometimes enough is enough, even when the message is important). I hope it won't turn them away from donating though.

Cyclone does not spam. She sent an email about the tea party and apparently, people had already received numerous tea party messages.

It's great that no one minds the bulletins you post. Perhaps you ought to try sending out some tea party messages. You might run into something different, now.

I send out bulletins. A couple a day. I havent had any complaints from my friends. When they see me I get thanked for it..

There are other threads in this forum saying that we need to message the 90K RP friends on myspace. I guess coming into this at the last minute I'm not sure what to believe although I thought I read somewhere that 1/3 of the 11/5 donations came from myspace friends??? If so shouldn't we really make sure that they all at least get 1 message from a central group for 12/16?
