It looks like we are going to get a huge Nor'easter this Saturday night/Sunday morning with expected snowfall totaling up to two feet.

My girlfriend and myself were planning to drive from our home in Norwich, CT to Boston to be part of the Tea Party rally.

Because of today's storm and the impending weekend storm, the Ron Paul Blimp will NOT make it to Boston for Sunday. Also, because of the impending weekend storm, my girlfriend and I will NOT be driving to Boston.

Instead, we are going to stay home, and donate the money we would have spent on gas, tolls, food, etc., directly to Ron Paul. This is $50 more that we will be giving to the campaign.

I urge anyone else who is planning to drive to Boston, to consider this option.

Good idea. I've been thinking the same. I would hate for any Paul supporter to get sick or in an accident. We gotta keep our numbers up!

It's definitely not the end of the world that the offline party won't be happening in Boston. It's a downer, but the REAL party will be online. I personally love driving in the snow, but if things are that bad, you're better off staying home. Take a break to play in the snow, though. :D

definitely sucks for those of you who need to travel... hoping to see all the NE peeps... but this could still be a rain event so stay tuned...

I'll have to add up all of the donations I have made so far and will be maxing out to the $2,300 on the 16th! I'm pretty sure I'm over $2,000 already. I wish I could give more, but there are always other ways like by supporting grass roots efforts.

Bummer about the weather, definately stay home. Paulites should send up fireworks (or do something) to signal their support from their snow bound homes.
